( Rykett @tearinmyheart ) Lokianna:Lokianna trudged in the snow, carrying her twin daughters. She stopped at the border, and howled for Alphess Blaise. She figured that another she-wolf would understand. She might have to kill the pups if they stayed, another pack was safest. Lokianna stopped to wait for Blaise. She put her daughters down, and nuzzled them. She loved them, that was why she was bringing them to here. She had to save their lives. She couldn't let them die. Spenca:Spenca was curled up, her gray fur was standing out in the soft white snow. She was oblivious to the fact she was being left. She didn't know anything about how crule the world was. Or how brave their mother was by saving them. Spenca opened her eyes weakly, only seeing out of one. She saw her mother's black, gold, and green fur, and her sister's gray, white, and beige fur. She felt cold, alone. Her sister was the only one besides their mother, and, they had a brother...

Lisanna felt her body swinging with her sister's body pressed against hers as their mother carried them to Secluded Sunrise's border to abandon them there. At least, she would have thought that they were being abandoned. She didn't know that her mother was saving the two of them with her actions. Both eyes weakly opened, but she could only see out of one of them. The other was pitch black.
She whined softly as she was dropped into the snow next to her twin. Her eyes drifted shut and Lis laid her head on her sister's back. She sniffled and breathed in her own scent on her sister. It always confused her how they had the same smell. Then again, they hadn't been alive for very long at all. They couldn't be told apart unless you focused on their eyes.

Blaise:
There was a scent on the air that reminded her of evil intentions. She was cautious in her approach. She flit from shadow to shadow using her black coat as camouflage so to the unvigilant eye, she seemed nothing more than that, a shadow. Her purple eyes peered out from under her furrowed brow and out at the wolf standing on her border. As Blaise neared, still remaining as unseen as she could manage, she determined the wolf’s scent. It was a female from Frigid Plague. Though Frigid Plague had neither threatened or made peace with Secluded Sunrise, Blaise felt the strong urge to be cautious. She’d met evil wolves in her past. One had broken her heart while the other had done nothing more than scare and horrify a little pup.
If Blaise had learned anything, though, it was you couldn’t judge a wolf by the colors of their coat. Evil, neutral, or good, all wolves had intentions that they hid whether ill or virtuous. When she spoke, Blaise’s tone revealed her distrust in a growl at the back of her thought. She remained hidden as she voiced her questions, ”Who are you, stranger? And why are you here?” Blaise reminded herself to be more careful with her tone. She would rather not invoke tensions between their packs other than the difference in alliances. They shared the same forest as their home, and it wouldn’t do for them to be tearing it apart with war.

Lokianna: Lokianna looked up from her daughters to find the voice's source. "My name is Lokianna, and I have come to save my daughters. If I keep them at Frigid Plague, they would be killed." she said. "I left my only son, I can't lose these two." she said, her voice trembling a bit. She was still shakey from giving birth to her three beautiful pups.
Spenca: Spenca opened her eyes wider at the new sound. Her two colored eyes, one misty blue the other beautiful purple. She looked over at her sister who had a blue and a misty purple eye. Spenca tried to look for the other wolf, but she must have been in that black area. Why was that black? She would ask Mommy! "Mommy? Why can't I see? It's scaring me Mommy. Please, tell me." she said in a soft voice. She looked at her sister.

"Momma! I can't see either! I'm scared too!" Lisanna spoke, turning her head to try and find the source of the growl she had heard. Scared, she cried out, "I can only see Spence. Please, can we stay together? I don't wanna leave her!" She let out a small whine and turned her head back to the position where she was before. Her good eye focused on her sister and stayed there. It sought out comfort and a little bit of her emotions were mirrored in her twins' eye as well. "Momma. This is scary. Tell us something, we're scared."

Blaise:
Purple eyes watched from the shadows as Blaise listened to Lokianna's plea. She seemed sincere and the two puffballs of grey fur at the she-wolf's feet testified of the truth in her statements. The Alphess's eyes were the first things to become visible as Blaise emerged from the shadows. "You wish for them to be cared for by one of the females in my pack?" Blaise supposed aloud. She paused in her approach, looking down at the two puppies. The little females seemed to be panicking. Blaise bent down to peer at pups. They were exactly the same, twins. They seemed not much bigger than newborns, but unusually scrawny, and barely old enough to have opened their eyes. Eyes that were two different colors, blue and purple, and flicking around wildly. One of each of their eyes were slightly misted over. Their little voices told of the blindness that plagued each eye.
Her heart softened as Blaise looked at the tiny pups worried by the large, scary world and how it seemed half black. Blaise, unable to watch the puppies panic, spoke gently to the younglings, "It's alright little ones. You can see each other, can't you? The world is never completely dark." Blaise met their half-misted gaze for a second before straightening to meet the mother's eyes. She'd said that they'd be killed if they remained in Frigid Plague, probably for their stunted size. It was unknown to Blaise why some wolves would be willing to cut a life short because they were too different, especially puppies. Ever since Blaise had given birth to her pups, she'd gained a soft spot for pups. She knew that she could never turn any pups away to be killed. "I'd be willing to raise them within my borders."

Lokianna: "I would like for you to raise them." Lokianna said. She bent down to nuzzled her pups, and started a soft lullaby. "Close your eyes, as the sun shines. Close your eyes and remember.. Soon you will be, home with me. Once apon a winter's eve." she sang. She looked back up at Blaise, and her tail twitched. She nuzzled them both, and looked back at Blaise. "Thank you. Their names are Exspence and Lisanna." she said. "Just tell Exspence her name is Spenca. And sing them that song to go to sleep. Please." She said, turning to go. Her green gold eyes flashing.
Spenca: Spenca looked at Blaise. She looked at her purple eyes that was so like her own. When Mommy started singing, Spenca nodded off, closing her eyes. She didn't here much of her mom and Blaise talking, but she dreamed of her brother. She wondered if they would ever be a entire family again. She didn't know that her mom might never see him again either.

Lis was calmed by the new wolf's voice. She spoke in the same tone of her mother. She liked that. She turned her eyes towards her sister and relished in the sight of someone so similar, yet so different. She hadn't heard what her mother was saying, since she was so deep in thought about her and her sister's relationship. What she did listen in on was their mother beginning to sing to them. She let out a sigh and leaned against her twin. With her mother's voice, the female's presence, and her sister's warmth, she thought that everything would be perfectly okay. It also wasn't known to Lis that she was so wrong.

Blaise:
”They will be cared for as you have requested. Thank you for trusting them to me,” the alphess said, her voice gentle, yet still formal. Blaise stared down at the twins. A small smile flickered on her muzzle as she looked at them. They were so young. They were too young to be plagued by such a confused and conflicted past. Blaise hoped that their days are blind and deaf newborns would be lost in the fog of memories. She hoped that nothing would be left to haunt them. She hoped that they were too young to remember. Blaise knew how traumatizing such reminding thoughts could be. She was permanently reminded of events long past. Ruko was somewhere out in the world, struggling against hate caused by an event that had happened when he was only a couple minutes old.
Was it her method of keeping secrets from him that had hurt him so badly? No, she’d protected him, but when the time finally came for her to reveal the truth, she hadn’t been right in her way of telling him and Amora. Amora, thankfully, hadn’t seemed as horrified at the truth as Ruko. Was Blaise just going to doom this pups to the same fate as Ruko? Two litters of pups in similar conditions. Both had histories rather forgotten and the possibility of turning bad into worse. Blaise sighed, realizing their future was shaky, but she had to care for them to the best of her abilities even though her abilities were probably not enough. She carefully scooped the two resting pups up in her jaws. She nodded ever so slightly to Lokianna, cautious not to disturb the newborns. Still, she paused before departing in case the mother had some final words to say before she left her pups.

(Rykett)
Lokianna:She looked behind her, and watched the Alphess. She bowed her head, and said, "When they are older, tell them that I will send their brother to get them. If they chose their birth pack or the pack that raised them is up to them." With that she left, her tears flowing freely. She had lost all her pups to wolves. At least they where safe, far away from their mother who had left them. ~Exit Lokianna~ Spenca:Spenca felt herself being lifted, but was to sleepy to care. She opened her purple eye a little, seeing her mother go, and her sister beside her. Spenca closed her eyes again, falling into a deep sleep plagued by thoughts f her mother, sister, and her new mom.

When Lisanna felt a tug on her scruff and the ground dropping away from her, she huffed. No other noise escaped her mouth until she was swung softly and her hips bumped against her sister's before she was swung away and the two were separated by mere millimeters. She let out a gentle and hardly audible grunt. She on the other hand, refused to open either one of her eyes, although only one could do her any good. Although, she took a deep breath and smelled her birth mother moving away while her new mother was close and moving towards a place that smelled similar to most of the female's scent. She felt as though she would do okay, but she didn't know why her mom was leaving.

Blaise:
Blaise felt her stomach turn with the words with some anxiety. No secrets. Out of the few things that Lokianna wished Blaise to do for that pups, that last request would be difficult for Blaise to carry out when hard truths and the past had previously hurt so much and been hidden to hide the pain. Blaise had become accustomed to keeping her secrets. Maybe some honesty in her life would help, but it couldn’t change what had already happened. It could change the future though. It would change these pups’ future. It encouraged Blaise to look forward, for once, instead of looking back.
She watched the Lokianna’s form weave through the forest and disappear behind the tree trunks. The two identical pups hung in her jaws. Their weight and warmth gave Blaise a feeling nostalgia. Two pups had been given to her once again. Blaise turned and padded slowly into her territory, careful to not let her gait bounce the pups out of their peaceful rest. -Exit Blaise-

Spenca: Spenca cracked her eye open. She pushed her nose into her sister's neck and a single tear fell. She looked up at her new mother, with purple eyes like her. They did look like family. More then she did with her birth mother or her evil father. More then she did with her brother or just about anyone, besides Lisanna. Her twin sister that she adored to death. No one would ever say they weren't family. Spenca looked ahead, to her new home. It was pretty, and a small flurry started as she fell asleep again. She didn't look back, she wouldn't for a long time... ~Exit Spenca~

Lis yawned and nuzzled her sister in a loving manner. They would be inseparable. That was okay. So was their new mom. She liked that. She remembered the song their mother had sang and turned her head so her nose was lightly pressed to Spenca's cheek. She whispered the words softly and gently into her ear, even after she had already been lulled to sleep. She had felt as though she couldn't just end it short. She had to finish it. When she had, Lisanna yawned once more and looked towards the she wolf whom she would call mom before she too fell asleep.
*Exit Lisanna*
