Leviathan:
The large, navy wolf bustled through the shrubs and grasses, leaving large paw prints in the verdant earth. His long, broad tail flew out behind him as he ran, his long and muscular legs adorned with flame-like blue markings carrying him in large strides. He had just left the Forest of Love with his new companion, but he had lost her along the way. He had followed her scent in this direction, but he couldn't find her. His ears perked up at the sound of crashing water, and looked up to the sky. The sun would be setting soon, and the sky was painted with beautiful pink and purple colors. Trying to drown out the sounds of the water, he flickered his ears to catch any sounds crossing his interest. Levi looked off into the distance, noticing the top of the waterfall. He trotted to the side of the cliff and looked down, scanning the area beneath him. "Akiane?" he called worriedly. When he reached the top of the falls, the sound of crashing water filled his ears. A cool mist crashed into the side of his pelt, making him shiver a bit. He sniffed the air excessively, but he caught no scents. The large wolf raised his head to the sky, emitting a loud, long howl that carried in the wind and echoed across the vast land. His howls usually sounded dominant and scary, but now they were filled with concern. Where was his companion? As the sorrowful howl faded, he turned and bounded down a nearby slope leading to the bottom of the falls. When he reached the bottom, he was surrounded by clusters of long grasses decorated with blossoming flowers. He lowered his head and sniffed the ground. Nope, no scents.Crimson eyes glimmered in the darkness and he looked from left to right. Hopefully she heard his call and would meet him here. While he patiently waited, he walked around and admired the scenery. The falls cascaded over the cliffside and into the river below, and the entire place was adorned with blooming flowers. It was a rather romantic place, just like the forest he was just in. Leviathan had a bad feeling, for some reason. He didn't know what happened to Akiane or where she went. He was very hopeful that she would find him.

Akiane:
The she-wolf was running as fast as she could, her bushy fox-like tail billowing out behind her and her ears flapping in the wind as the wind blew against her. She'd only just made it out if the Forest of Love with her new companion Leviathan before one of her attacks came upon her, air now feeling like it wasn't getting in to her lungs. The white-furred female wheezed as she slowed down and soon collapsed onto the verdant ground beneath her gold-flecked paws, her breathing short and labored as she tried to get air into her lungs, wincing as she coughed wetly. Continuing to lay where she was, in a land that was so unfamiliar to her, but beautiful al the same, Akiane listened and sniffed the air to see if she could detect anything from Levi, like a scent or a sound or something... Anything..
She heard someone in the distance call her name, the someone's voice faint and carried on the cool breeze and she lifted her head weakly to see if she could see anything. When her chocolate-brown eyes caught sight of no other wolf, she whimpered softly and laid her head back down, trying to remember what her mother told her to help with the attacks. Just lie down and steady your breathing... Chew on grass to help steady your breathing.. It was like her mother was right there with her, helping her as she closed her muzzle and inhaled through her nose, her breathing ion steadying and her heart no longer fluttering as it steadily pumped blood throughout her system, keeping her alive as she did her best to stand up on her own.
It took a few tries, but she was able to stand up and looked to the sky when she heard a howl, smiling as it sounded like Levi. She walked in that direction some, limping as she'd scraped one of her paws on the ground when she'd collapsed. She tilted her head up some and sniffed the air, catching a faint scent of Levi on the wind and her ears picking up the sound of crashing water. Unsure how far she would be able to go on an empty stomach and with a wounded paw, Akiane sat down and lifted her head to the sky. She let her eyes close and the blowing wind carry the low, yearning howl across the grassy land to Levi, hoping he heard it and came to the rescue like a hero in navy blue...

The male kept sniffing at the ground excessively, trying to pick up a scent. Ugh... nothing... His large blue paws crashed against the soft, moist surface of the ground as he released an agitated sigh throughout the cool breeze. Red eyes gleamed like garnets in the darkness, examining the silenced falls. He halted, his large weight at each one of his four legs. His ears were lowered, and he looked truly fearful for the first time in years. Why did he have such a bad feeling? He sniffed the air again, trying to pick up anything. Levi's blue ears perked and his head raised as a very faint scent came to his nose. Akiane? It was faint and he couldn't tell, but he was convinced it was her. His salmon hued tongue crossed his lips, his ears holding clear of any sounds around him.
He continued along, his shadow slipping across the trees, coming closer and closer to the scent. The breeze carried the scent rather strongly now, but he saw nothing. Wait a minute... he thought, his navy ears perking to hear a yearning howl in response to his. His ears shot forward and his eyes widened like saucers. "Akiane!" he called in relief, breaking into a sprint as he followed the noise. He bounded across the clearing and suddenly lunged forward, crashing through the shrubbery. Plowing through the tall grasses and shrubs, his navy pelt soon became encroached with debris. "Akiane!" he said as he finally found the she-wolf. She was limping, and he noticed she was breathing heavily. "What happened? Are you okay?" he asked frantically, unsure of what to do. She appeared to be very hurt. What do I do? What do I do?! His ears flattened with concern. "H-how can I help?"

Akiane stood up after finishing her howl, limping off in the direction she thought Levi was in. She wasnt sure how far she's really make it before she fell again or Leviathan came to her rescue like the sweet wolf he appeared to be. The she-wolf tensed as she heard the cracking of twigs and the rustling of grass, her chocolate-brown eyes wide and looking about frantically as she tried to find the source of all the commotion. When her new companion came darting out of the brush, she jumped and looked at him, her eyes still wide and he breathing somewhat heavy at the little scare she was given.
The female tilted her head to one side when the male wolf called out her name, waiting to see if he was going to say something before speaking up. She could tell he'd noticed her limp and heavy breathing, her cheeks flushing bright pink when asked what had happened, and if she was okay. Akiane sat down to rest some, shrugging some when Levi asked if he could help. "Firstly, I'm f-fine.. I just have a... Disability, that limits certain things that I can do without getting hurt," she explained, hoping that this wouldn't change anything, "I just collapsed is all, and may have twisted my paw but I'll be fine. I just need some rest and to keep off of it for a little while," she finished, smiling up at Leviathan before standing up and looking around. The sky was reddening, the clouds turning a beautiful gold-pink color as the sunset came and evening fell upon the beautiful land.
"Let's go find a place to sleep for the night, yeah? Somewhere near that water I hear," Akiane chirped as brightly as she could, walking off and flicking her tail about her hind legs as she walked, looking back over her shoulder to see if Levi was coming, a grin creeping up on her muzzle when she saw that the male was indeed following her, the duo now looking for a den big enough for the both of them and maybe.. More, like.. Pups..

Leviathan was still a bit overwrought from the situation, thinking that his companion was hurt. His navy ears swiveled as she spoke, explaining her disability and how it limits her from doing things. His eyes glinted with compassion. This won't change anything, of course, he thought. My companion may have a disability, but our relationship certainly will not. "You may not need help, but please do not hesitate to ask me if you ever do," he responded. He felt bad that Akiane wasn't able to do some things due to this disability. Did she have this since she was a pup? he wondered. Pups need to have fun and play... He really wished that he could help somehow.
When Akiane stood up and looked skywards, Leviathan did as well, noticing the stunning colors of the sky as the sun began to set. It sort of set a romantic atmosphere, the sky slowly turning to a golden-pink hue to match the blooming, multifarious flowers that were scattered around the clearing. Leviathan's ears perked as Akiane suggested finding a place to sleep. "Yeah, good idea." At last! Leviathan was groggy from exploring all day. He followed behind the alluring she-wolf, his midnight blue tail swishing eagerly at his hocks. He looked around, not really sure where they could find a den, but if they found one somewhere by the water like Akiane suggested, that would be perfect. He trotted slightly ahead of Akiane to explore but stayed in sight, squinting as it was getting a bit dark. Are there even any dens around here? he thought to himself. Levi glanced over to the cascading waterfalls, and noticed a large, fallen cedar with a large branch leaning against the hillside. It wasn't too far from the water, but he wasn't exactly sure there was a den there.
He trotted ahead, bounding to the fallen tree. The branch was very large and leaned against the side of the hill, but he wasn't sure if it could possibly be covering a den. The male sniffed around the area, noticing a very faint scent. It was unfamiliar, but it was definitely a wolf scent. Maybe there's a den behind this branch that hasn't been used in a while? He clasped his powerful jaws around the branch and tried to drag it, emitting a growl in frustration. But even the large beast couldn't make it budge. "Akiane," he called to the she-wolf. "Could you help me move this branch? I think I found something."

Akiane walked off in the direction of the water sound her ears picked up on, her ears alert and her chocolate brown eyes darting about frantically as she walked, keeping cautious and doing her best to detect if any predators were around, as she didn't think she'd be able to hold up her end on a fight and didn't want Levi to have to stick up for her in everything. She watched as Leviathan passed her and bounded ahead a few feet at a time, smiling as he looked for a den for them to sleep in as well. He's rather sweet, despite how large his size is.. Akiane thought, a faint blush blossoming across her cheeks, matching the pink petals that floated around from the Forest of Love, whatever direction that was in.
The she-wolf looked at Levi quizzically when he bounded ahead, trotting after him and trying not to have another attack as she tried to catch up. It took her about ten minutes before she found the larger male, sniffing around and watching as he tried to move a big cedar tree branch that was leaning against a side of a hill. A very faint scent of past wolves lingered around this fallen tree, and Akiane wasn't sure what it even meant to use this area. "Hmm?" she hummed when Levi called her name, looking at the branch as he proceeded to ask her if she could help him move it, her eyes widening some as she sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not the strongest she-wolf, but I'll try and help as much as I can.." she murmured, using her small size to weave her way under the branch and disappear amongst the dead twigs and other little branches. She did her best to push the branch while her new companion pulled on it, the duo working together until the branch moved out some to reveal a decent-sized den that was big enough for them both and even a few pups.
"We did it!" Akiane chirped to Leviathan, grinning at him and prancing about excitedly before stoping to take deep breaths before walking off into the new den, her tail brushing about the den floor to sweep away all the dirt, debris, and the past wolf's scent...

(Sorry about not posting in a while ;-; I've been really busy)
Leviathan noticed his companion quickly weave under the branch and help push out the large branch, and he locked his powerful jaws around it and pulled it away from the hillside. With a weary grunt, he dragged the branch out of the way, noticing a decent-sized den. "Nice job!" he said, and sauntered over to the den entrance. It was undeniably dark, obviously, especially in the darkness of the night. The male crouched to the ground, and lowered himself to crawl into the cave. It was a rather large entrance, but the brute's astronomical size made him have to wiggle a good bit to get inside. "Nrrrgh!" he groaned before compressing himself and then easily sliding through the den. "There we go," he said, chuckling a bit in embarrassment.
The den was prepossessing. A good size, not too big and not too small. It was excellent for the two wolves, and possibly a few pups... Levi was still a little unsure about pups. Yappy little buggers seemed damn near impossible to train. But at the same time, he thought he would cherish a family, as long as the youngsters weren't brats... The wolf shook the thoughts away and admired the den, looking down to the cave floor to see a hide to sleep on. There were also lots of large, flat rocks to sleep on as well. Considering the scents were extremely faint, and the collapsed tree in front of the den, he guessed this den probably wasn't used in a long while. It was a pretty average den right now, but perhaps they could find ways to adorn the home.
"It's a nice place for a home," the male said. And... maybe pups... He looked over to see the beautiful white she-wolf, and he smiled, for the first time in a rather long while. He actually felt... happy. Leviathan walked slowly over to the she-wolf with an affable smile, and lowered his head a bit to gently lick her forehead. "But you should get some sleep, my dearest. You have to rest your paw." His words were affectionate, but wasn't exactly sure what she was to him. So what does this make us? he wondered. He looked to his right to notice a few other hides piled in a corner. Sauntering over to them, he dragged a soft, comfortable deer hide next to his, and laid out on the stony floor. With a flick of his tail, he nudged it over for Akiane to rest on.

((Sorry this took so long! ^^; Was a little bit busy, but I've nothing coming uo and am free to type a reply every other day for the rest of the summer~))
The female looked up from her tail-sweeping when she heard a sound of some struggle, chuckling softly when she looked over to the larger wolf wriggling inside of the den entrance. She watched him a moment to make sure he didn't get hurt or stuck before returning to her sweeping of the den floor. Once finished, the white-furred she-wolf sat down and inspected the den, sighing softly at how lovely it seemed despite it being so dark.. It's a decent size for the two of us and any occasional pups either of us may bring in.. she thought, curling her tongue as she yawned before looking down at the den floor. Akiane hummed softly when she realized there were different animal hides and flat-surfaced rocks to sleep on, scrunching her nose some at the idea of sleeping on something soft rather than the cold, hard ground.
Akiane looked over at Leviathan when he spoke up and said that the den was a nice place for a home, his words feeding the hopeful spark she had earlier of having found a potential mate. "I-it is," she agreed, looking about the den and sighing softly at how lovely it was. Upon hearing footsteps nearing her, she looked in the direction the sound was coming from and was met with Levi's tongue gently licking her forehead. the she-wolfs cheeks instantly turned a dusted shade of pink at this, and she stared at the male wolf with wide, chocolate-brown eyes as her mind just processed what had happened. He licked me? He licked me! Oh, what does this mean? Does he like me? I hope he does, as I've taken a liking to him as well.. she thought in the midst of her blushing and fantasizing of a nice little family with Leviathan and at least one pup.
She had zoned out for a moment, but snapped back to reality when she heard the other wolf say that she should get some rest, as she had to rest. The words he used though made Akiane's heart flutter in her chest and want to just soar out of her little body. The she-wolf watched as Levi sauntered over to a pile of pelts in a corner, her head tilted tilted to the side curiously as the larger wolf dragged a deer hide next to his own, laying it out on the stony floor before he gave a flick of his tail and nudged it over for her to rest on. Huffing softly, Akiane nudged the pelt closer to Levi before curling up on it, sighing softly before shifting so that she was curled up in the arch of the older male's stomach. She hated to be chilly when she slept, and the larger wolf was a great heat-source for someone like her. "I'm glad to have met you Leviathan," she murmured softly, laying her head on her paws and looking out at the moon-lit bathed world with an understanding of how it felt to be in love...

Leviathan smiled as the white female blushed in the most graceful manner. He looked into her eyes a bit romantically. They were a beautiful color, like copper against honey and sage. They seemed to glow as she blushed, two perfect orbs the same shade as nature after it rains. He turned to lay upon the pelt laid on the floor. He unceremoniously fell onto his haunches and exhaled, lethargic after a full day of adventuring. The male lowered himself to lay on the soft deer pelt, his chin rested against his large navy paws. His ear flicked as he heard the she-wolf walking up to him. She curled up on the pelt next to him, and Levi couldn't help but blush when she reclined against him.
So this is what love feels like, he thought. It was the feeling of one's heart as they show love for another. It's the feeling of butterflies in your stomach flapping their wings to the beat of the heart. It's the uncontrollable heat that rushes to your face when you see that certain someone. It felt like a roller coaster. In the very beginning, you climb in and think 'I can't believe I'm doing this, what the hell was I thinking?! Maybe this isn't such a good idea.' Until every twist and turn was super exciting and you realize you're enjoying every scary minute and you starts to just let go and trust... no, you start to truly believe...that you're definitely going to make it. And then the coaster pulls into the place where it started from. Levi was happy, enriched, and knew he was right where he always wanted to be.
The male smiled when the female said he was glad to meet him. "I'm glad to have met you too, Akiane." His eyelids soon drooped and he was asleep within minutes, his indigo tail slowly shifting across the cave ground to curl around Akiane's. It was not just a dream. He actually found love...

((Hope this is alright~ ^^ I suppose they can spend the next few RP months getting to know each other a bit better before becoming mates and all, so I'll plot more ideas and shall message you about them~))
The white-furred female continued to gaze out at the moonlight-bathed world outside of their new den as she tried to doze off. Her heart was racing in her chest, however, and she just felt like bounding about like a pup again for finally having felt the feeling her parents described to her the way they felt whenever they were with each other as a family and away from one another during hunts. Oh how excilerating it all felt to have some understanding of this new version of love, and to have the same version of said love to possibly be there for you as well. It was enough to keep her awake for the most part about what the future may hold for her and the larger wolf, and she wasn't sure why she even really felt the way she did- especially having only just met the male and not wanting to rush into something she wouldn't be able to back out of later. Like becoming Leviathan's mate or bearing their children.
However, when the navy-blue wolf returned her words and said that he was also glad to have met her, Akiane felt the color rise to her cheeks and her heart practically leaped for joy in her chest. She lifted her head and looked over to the now-asleep male, the smaller female jerking some when she felt something against her tail, quickly looking and sighin heavily in relief to see that it was just the other male's tail, her body relaxing as she lay back down and continued to look out of the cave, her chocolate-brown eyes watching as the moon and stars faded from the sky and the sun and birds rose to waken up the Earth, not having slept at all and feeling exhausted as she sat up and went to go sit near the den entrance, looking out at the sunrise by herself and sighing softly as the gentle morning rays of sunlight fell upon her white fur, bathing it in its golden light and reflecting on her dark eyes as she continued to watch the beautiful sunrise, unsure if Levi was still asleep or not but deciding not to wake him just yet in the blissful hours of the early morning...
