A crisp, cold breeze swept through the night fallen terrain as dark ash coloured paws touched the soft grassy ground. Darkness had taken over the lands, white flecks, that of stars shimmered in the purple and midnight blue hued canvas of the sky. A loud snort escaped leathery nostrils as the brute exhaled loudly, aromas of the lands filling his lungs as he inhaled deeply, nostrils flaring as his head rose from the floor. The scents of new and old travelers creating vague pictures in his mind as emerald green eyes surveyed his surroundings carefully, gleaming in the dense light of the over hanging moon; its white light trying to penetrate through the mess of branches above the young wolf. The slim shadowy figure slithering through the underbrush of over looming trees that surrounded the edge of this land, the young wolfs eyes seemingly searching around him. The gentle howl of the wind echoed within his ears as they pivoted a top his slender head, the sound of crashing water from the falls roaring in the distance as medium sized paws carried the muscular brute further into the eerily night covered land. Bushy, fox like tail dragged behind him upon the damp grass as he strolled through the night. A sigh passed his muzzle as the wolf continued his journey toward the falls. Black ears twitching to the sound of cascading water as the crystal blue mass finally came to his emerald eyes view. The male slowly peered around him, the crashing sound of the water filling his ears as he pressed onward toward the pool below the falls. Hard green stare watching as the moonlight danced elegantly across the waters surface, head tilting to the side some as he watched the water rush from the top of the falls edge. Tail slowly began to sway behind him as he pondered on the scenery laid before him, stare adverting from the falls to the pool at his paws. The young male licking at his muzzle slowly, head gradually moving closer to the waters edge, a pink tongue flicking out from his mouth as he began lapping at the cold, refreshing liquid.

Her breath came out in long misty puffs as she came down the mountain. Three seasons had passed since she had visited the white wolfess on the mountain. She had taken her time on the way down, spending autumn on the slope, winter in a cave at the base of the mountain, and spring in the forested area where the mountain towered over her as the valley came back to life. Though often she would travel up the mountain for a certain type of rabbit she had discovered on her first journey. Now she was a short distance from her day journey to the mountain, her new confidence daring her into the valley once more. She paused next to a tree, and closing her maw she lifted her nose to smell the crisp summer night sky. It had been too long – besides meeting her friend Joey - that she had been alone. Again stirred within her the desire to find a pack to lend her services, to be of need.
Golden limbs pulled her through the trees, her ghostly white figure, similarly to the trees that now were sparse, was slimmed from shedding her winter coat. She slipped quietly through the still night. When the moon and stars found the wandering wolf, the gold-flecked fur on her paws winked back up them. What Tovaana did not know about herself, was the new part of gold that added to the dim glow of gold in the moonlight. Two thin ribbons encircled her right eye. They had been part of the gift that had been given to her. Barrier. It had been her only focus the past seasons, and had distracted her from finding a pack right away. It had taken greuling hours, days, weeks as she practiced and discovered how to use the ability. She could now smile at her first memory of discovering the ability, but two seasons ago she had almost had a melt down when she had run into a tree with her barrier triggered. It should have been a joyous occasion, realizing that the barrier was semi-translucent and that she had been making progress, but it had also inflicted pain when the collision with the tree had pierced the barrier- ironically protecting her from the tree, but the block was just as, if not more, painful.
Golden steps slowed as her ears flicked toward the thrum of water splitting on rocks. She unconsciously licked her lips and continued forward, coming onto the falls on the opposite side that the male had entered the scene. Tovaana did not notice her company right away, distracted by the water falling so near her, the mist chilling and enchanting all at the same time. Then she noticed the shadow, but only because it moved, for he was a similar color of the stones that littered the edge of the pool as well. She immediately started moving in the direction of the male, then paused – her naïve good nature had immediately assumed this wolf was friendly. She stood still, regarding the male calmly – more confident with her new ability to defend herself, and hopeful he was not terribly company like of wolves she had heard of, but yet to bump into.
“Good night.” She greeted politely, raising her head a little, watching him cautiously with her golden flecked gaze.

Stormstar: Stormstar limped along past the falls. She couldn't care less about them, she had seen them every day for three years. By now she had her memories, was was, less, insane. She still would see things. Often. Storm shook her head, thinking of her goal. Finding her way home. Then she stopped, her ears perked and nose twitching. She smelled other wolves. She let out a soft growl, but looked for them in the mist and darkness. She spotted a white she-wolf, and a gray male. Her powermark glowed red, illuminating her star deep red as she approached, static puffing her fur. Electricity flickered from tip to tip, giving her a electric shell. She tried to extend it past her fur, but that didn't work. The electricity in her fur gave her a glowy look, almost ghostly. Then she shut it off, tired from using it so hard. A Electric Shell as she called it was hard to do and required a lot of energy. She supposed any power shell would. Looking up at the two wolves, she asked, "Who are you?" It wasn't hostile, but it wasn't friendly either.

Thirst finally quenched, the brute's head lifted from the sparkling water below. Droplets of silver liquid dripping from his muzzle as his emerald eyes landed upon a white, feminine figure. Green eyes looked back to a golden gaze, the grey male tilting his head slightly to the side as her greeting resounded within his head. A smile was offered to the female, Vasco straightening himself as he observed the wolf in front of him till finally a gruff voice escaped his lips, "Evening." Giving his head a polite nod toward the female as his ears pivoted atop his head, quietly listening to the sound of the water beside them. Grey muscular figure rolled his shoulders slowly, lean head turning to look toward the trees as his eyes peered into the shadows. The brute could hear the distant footfalls of another approaching, his charcoal and brown speckled fur bristling atop his back at he turned to looked toward the ivory female before him, "Another out for a nightly stroll. yes?" His tail swaying calmly behind him.
Then another voice called into the air, black ears twitching backward a top his head as the other female spoke. The brute turned, his eyes falling upon a much vivid coloured form; crimson. Paws moved the male to face this new arrival, without turning his back on either one of them. Tail flicked behind him, eyes staring at the crimson female, "Who's asking?".

She nodded at his greeting in return, polite. She felt her muscles relax, only a little. Almost immediately she caught her breath, holding it as she listened to someone else approaching not so shyly. Her ears swiveled from the distance to the male who spoke. Was he talking about her or the one coming toward them? Trying to make her feel at ease? Nodding her head, she hummed in agreement, whether it was for her or the other.
The wolf charged into the scene with no regard and no fear- she couldn’t tell what color she was in the evening moonlight and the sort of glow that followed her. She was transfixed momentarily by the glowing red mark that illuminated the star marking. The hair on the wolf seemed to have life of its own, on its end, making it hard to tell if the risen hackles were aggressive or not. The sharp words of the femme cut through the air, very forward, and she reached within her and touched her own ability reflexively, but did not activate it, only comforted to know she had something, if anything.
She opened her mouth to tell her, but the male’s words interrupted her thoughts and words. Tov glanced over at his green eyes, a glow in the moonlight as well – she was appreciating its light this night, both the security and beauty it brought that night. Eyes moved back to the edgy female, curious if, no, how she would reply.

Stormstar: Storm glared at the male. Her silver and black fur shining in the moonlight. It also illuminated the scars on her leg, underbelly, and face. She raised her head, and said, "I am Stormstar, the one who challenged Fjord the Ice King and lived. I was on my way to my old home, but instead I found you." Her blue eyes shined with a fierce light unique to her. Almost like lighting. The scars that decorated her face also spoke of her fight, the wide gash with smaller scratches covering the thin fur of her face. She took a step fully into the light, her twisted and unusable leg in full view in all it's disgusting and twisted glory. Above it where marks where she had tried to gnaw it off without and success. Her black marking, covering half back half and shoulders, glinted in the moon. Her silver front half had a strange shine to it, due to the silver she had inherited from her Grandmother. Light and beautiful, with a elegant head and finely tuned body. She was a picture or warrior grace, save the leg. Her blue eyes set off by black eye dots, and black ears rimmed silver. She was a sight to behold, a survivor. And all the mistrust and power was directed at the gray male. She took another step, ignoring the white female. She would address her later, besides, if she came at her, Storm could send her flying with one thought. The male, she was worried about a bit. He was across the river, but if he came across without regard for the current, she would be obligated to save him as a Good wolf. Her sense of morals was not out of line at that moment. She then looked at the female, her blue eyes searching the female's pale gold ones. Storm then looked back at the male, her powermark glowing red again and her lightning flickered. It didn't make her fur stand on end, but it gave them enough of a indicator she had lightning at her paws and was not afraid to use it. She was a powered wolf and was not shy about it. She even had a few attacks invented.

Vasco peered to the white female as she nodded politely back to him, his emerald eyes slowly and cautiously adverting back the more battle worn female as she spoke. His black ears swiveled atop his head as he listened to the powerful tone of her voice, this was wolf that held much experience. Vasco titled his head some as his stare peered at her many scars, the grey male detecting her mangled leg as she moved closer into the moonlight. The brute's emerald stare widened almost as he observed the physical state of the wolf before him, even though she was battle worn, she had an electrifying aura about her as the young male observed her fur. A smile almost made its way across his leathery lips as he watched the electricity dance upon her form. He, himself wasn't blessed with such abilities and so he couldn't help but admire it.
"Well, Stormstar, challenger of the Ice King.. I'm Vasco, of no fancy title." He dipped his head as he peered over toward the wolf he could now put a name to. His emerald gaze adverted toward the last nameless female, a gentle smile directed toward her as Vasco acknowledged both of them. Bushy tail swaying behind him as he pawed at the ground beneath his claws, silently waiting.

Tovaana kept most of her attention of the battle worn female, seeing more of her as the moon revealed her varying gray coat, stained with blood red where she had been opened in battle. Then the electricity came back, like vibrating red armor. Her eyes occasionally glanced over at the male, just as mysterious- but he didn’t seem as threatening at the moment. The harsh tones announced her greatness, but Tovaana did not find them so great. She did not know who Fjord the Ice King was, nor who she was, or about the battle, but the femme spoke as if she should know. And the way she caressed her electric ability sickened her, almost as if she loved the fight she had been in, and the pain did not bother her. However, she told her self, maybe she was reading it all wrong. Yet, there was no good side in a fight when she had initiated it.
She couldn’t help but narrow her eyes at the femme, but that was all that she gave away. However, Tov was not the target of attention, for the femme seemed more attentive on the male who had confronted her confrontation. She then turned her attention n the male, who calmly replied to Stormstar. Vasco. And then he looked toward her and she felt frozen, very unsure of herself, all confidence draining from her shoulders down. His soft smile and tail swaying kept her on her feet, and she touched her ability within her again, reminding herself that she not only had ability to protect others, but also herself.
“Tovaana… just Tovaana..” Her voice almost surprised her, clear unwavering tones calmly reaching into the cool night. She looked over Stormstar’s bloodied body, feeling her natural protective nature overcoming her first reaction toward the female.
“…Are you okay?” Obviously not.. “I know of a plant that helps with pain…” She offered in an kind tone.

Stormstar: Stormstar whirled around to face the white female, Tovvana. She noted the gold specks on her legs, an how she seemed fine. She looked at the she-wolf's eyes and she growled. She judged her, eha? Well she wasn't the first. Nor was she the first to think Storm was bragging and over exaggerating. She had been through that fight last year and it had cost her much. Including her sister and leg. But the scars had healed, her leg was twisted and mangled. She had nightmares every night, she still saw Fjord, even awake. His jaws aimed at her neck as she lashed out a electric paw. Exploding the ice and sending shards flying. Cutting her face and embedding ice in Fjord's face. Her face hardened, her blue eyes flickering dangerously and her look said, 'I have seen things you see in your worst nightmares, so back off sissy' and she meant it to come off as rude. Then she looked at Vasco. "A fancy title is hard to get, mine cost me a lot, but won me my family's honer. I had revenge on the wolf who hurt my father and grandmother, and now I'm on my way to see my sister after checking my old den. Though talking to you is holding me up, it's nice to talk to someone after this long." She smiled half hardheartedly, her dark blue eyes glinting in the dark. She then sat, her black rimmed silver ear flicking boredom. She needed to keep doing something... She sighed, her powermark glowed and she started playing around with her power. The blue lightning flickered as she watched it and wondered about what would have happened had she not had this. Would she be dead? Most likely, Fjord had been thrown off balance every time he tried to attack because she charged her fur. He had been thrown away, and had given her time to regroup herself. Her lightning had saved her. What she had gotten it for.
