((Ah! I'm so sorry! I kinda forgot about this thread! D:))
Ferox:
A thumping paw drew Ferox’s attention to Rontu. His expression was devoid of its usual optimism. His lips were downturned, his eyebrows were furrowed, and his ruff was raised. It seemed disapproving and a little aggressive. Was Rontu angry about something? Ferox raised an eyebrow. Now that was rare. What had Ferox done? Was it something he’d said? No, nothing Ferox had done was notably out of the ordinary. Rontu must just have decided to act mad. Ferox stuck his tongue at his brother. Before scampering onward towards Blaise’s den.
Alphess Blaise was the best. Ferox hadn’t really met her... yet, but he was sure she was the best. Why else would she be Alphess? Maybe they’d see her at her den! He could show her how great of an alpha he’d make! He couldn’t wait to be the Alpha! You could order everyone around and nobody could boss you around because you were the boss! Just wait until then, Rontu wouldn’t be giving Ferox any I’m-acting-like-I’m-angry looks then. Ferox smirked at the thought of achieving the alpha position.
Ferox turned as someone started giggling, just in time to see Valhallla leaping at him. ”Hey!” was all he managed before his sister crashed into him. They rolled in the dust, a tumbling mass of giggling and grumbling. Pinned under his sister’s paws, Ferox squirmed. ”What’d I ever do to you?!” he panted, frustratedly. The fact that he’d recently attempted to wake her and Mey up either slipped his mind or he just wanted to be the victim. It was most likely the latter. Ferox was always up to vent some “righteous” fury.

Rontu:
When Ferox finally looked over in his direction, he lowered the inside corners of his eyebrows and pushed the corners of his mouth a little further down. Ferox paused to study the expression. Granted, Rontu didn't make his "grumpy face" very often, it shouldn't have taken much for his fawn-colored brother to figure out what he was upset about. He didn't mind getting yelled at and the girls could stick up for themselves and their older siblings were big enough to laugh it off and Bianca could say how cute and fierce Ferox was trying to be, but a friend and a neighbor was something else and he could at least be nice to West. For some reason, the logic didn't translate in Ferox's brain quite as well and he instead stuck his tongue out at his brother, turned and started hopping away off in the direction of Alphess Blaise's den. Rontu rolled his eyes, turned to West again and shrugged, grinning apologetically on behalf of his brother and followed.
A rustle in the grass besides the trail Ferox was taking made Rontu look, Ferox turned just a fraction too late. A blur of fawn, white and blue erupted from the tall stalks and Val, legs spinning and flailing wildly in the air, pounced down on her brother, exacting vengeance for him interrupting her beauty rest. Rontu crowed with a happy, excited whimper and ran up to his sister, greeting her with a playful headbutt and playbowing down, tail waving to ask to join their game of tumbling and wrestling. "Heya Val! Glad you decided to join us. Sorry 'bout Fox interrupting your nap, he was just trying to act cool or something. Hey! You're wrestling! Can I play? Oh yeah, this dude is West. West." he hurriedly puckered his lips, then pulled them apart, cocked his maw open as though to gekker, hissed briefly between his teeth and then made them click to articulate his new friend's name. He briefly turned and gave West the same speedy introduction. Bite the bottom lip, hum, yawn, loll the tongue, Val. He then took his turn pouncing on his sister and again begged to join their game.

Valhalla; She ignored Ferox’s complaining greeting and miraculously found herself on top of her brother. Her tongue lolled happily, almost forgetting why she had felt so strongly about that had led her to surprising her brother. She glanced at her other brother who had head-butted her and she smiled sheepishly. “Hi Rontu, it’s good to see you too!” She turned with a giggle to her brother who made more complaining noises and she rolled her eyes.
“What don’t you do? Right Rontu?”
She then turned to Rontu who was clearly communicating with her. Val had always understood him in a sense and her wild imagination made up the rest.
“Vest? Oh, West!” She said, glancing at the male who had succeeded in not giving away her position. He seemed all right. Losing focus, she felt Ferox slipping from under her grip, but before he completely slipped from under her she nipped at his ears and bounded off and leapt at Rontu who was begging to play. She reared up on her back legs and pawed at the air in front of him.
“ROAR!” She growled fiercely and came down, thumping the ground in a solid play bow. It then occurred to her, as she glanced up at the grown up, that the trio had been going somewhere. Distracted for a moment, she glanced at all of them.
“Where you guys going, anyways?” ooc// sorry this post took so long! I didn't know it was my turn/forgot about the thread

West:West made a squinty smile as he watched the two brothers. Rontu was giving Ferox an upset expression, but the vocal brother only shrugged it off as if Rontu was just being weird, before turning and scampering on. With an annoyed scowl Rontu looked up at West and gave him a little shrug of apology. The gray and white male smiled down in understanding at the pup and whispered, "It's okay. Don't worry about him, what he says can't hurt me." The small she-pup suddenly burst from the grasses and hit Ferox with all her flying force and the two went tumbling in a mess of colorful paws. Ferox cried out in a plea for justice but his sister ignored his complaining and held him pinned under her control that he desperately fought to escape. With a madly wagging tail, Rontu excitedly greeted the new arrival and then earnestly begged to join the fun. The she-pup was more polite about Rontu's disability and smiled at him in a friendly manner and actually included him in when Ferox would have just brushed him off. In his own way Rontu introduced West to his sister and West laughed and flicked his tail. "Yep, I'm West. Nice to meet you..." West trailed off as Rontu hurriedly ran up to him and wanted to introduce his sister. With dramatic mouth jesters, Rontu said his sister's name and West slowly followed, "Vvval." The large adult was catching on to Rontu's way of communication, and it was slowly getting easier to understand the adorable fur-ball. Ferox eventually slipped through Val's paws and Rontu distracted her with play before she realized she had interrupted their adventure through the Ashwood Grove. She asked where they had been going, and West glanced at Ferox and then nodded in the direction. "Captain Ferox was taking us on an adventure to Alphess Blaise's den. Would you like to join us Val?"tovaana Fierfly Rykett

Ferox mumbled something indecipherable at Val’s comment and squirmed under her paws, searching for an escape route. He found it as Val was distracted by West. He wiggled out from under her and scrambled to his feet as he fled several paces away from his sister. Ferox would prefer not to face the embarrassment of being pinned by Valhalla again. He angrily growled her from a safe distance. West and Val exchanged names with help from Rontu, which was ridiculous… Ferox should be introducing everyone not Rontu. After all, Ferox was the leader, here, and Rontu couldn’t even talk. It was totally unfair. He considered the group sourly. “Good. Now that you all know each, Val you can leave. You weren’t invited on our adventure! Go back to the den, Ferox made a shooing motion with his paw and glared at his sister. Then West despicably decided to invite Val to join them. Ferox stared at him, slack-jawed with dismay. “No,” he hissed, betrayed, “You can’t- Not her! She ruins everything!” Ferox glanced from one wolf in the group to the next, finding no allies. He wrinkled his muzzle in frustration. He pawed at the ground and looked down, then he grumbled, ”Fine.”He strode past the others quickly attempting to take the lead before Val stole it. Ferox practically galloped the last stretch to the Alphess’s den. “Here it is!” he trumpeted as if it were a bull moose he’d single-handedly killed. He peeked inside to see if anybody was home, but didn’t see any wolves. The twins, Lisanna and Spenca, were often home, but not today. Sometimes even Betess Amora visited. Ironically, despite it being Blaise’s den, Ferox saw her frequent it the least out of the members of her family. Well, the least save for whoever was her mate and her possible son. Despite being fascinated with the Alphess’s personal life, Ferox didn’t really know who’d fathered any of Blaise’s pups. If any of the adults knew, they didn’t talk about him. Ferox believed it was another Alpha or warrior wolf from a pack outside the valley. Ferox had concocted the theory that Blaise’s and the mystery male’s love was secret because the two packs had once been bitter enemies and a union would only cause civil war. Nevermind the fact that Secluded Sunrise was a relatively new pack. Oh and he had to be a powerful sorcerer as well since Amora was such a great Botanist. Who else but a powered Alpha/warrior to capture Blaise’s affection? There were also rumors that Blaise had a son. Apparently, he’d turned evil or something.

Rontu:
Ferox didn't look too happy with Val joining in and hissed for West to un-invite her. Rontu made his clearest groan of disapproval and confusion. It was like Mom said at bedtime - the more the merrier - usually she'd get pounced on after that and she'd say something about maybe having spoken too soon, but Val was a great adventurer, why not let her join? Ferox rolled his eyes and finally conceded to the group adventure and tok the lead to the rest of Blaise's den.
The blue-eyed pup turned the Val and West and shrugged apologetically: "Sorry, I guess this is one of his especially grumpy days." to Val, "Don't take it personally sis, he's just mad that you pinned him again," he playfully nipped her ear, grabbed the tip and gave it a nice, playful yank to distract her from any hurt feelings. "C'mon! I'll race ya! Ferox already has a head-start!" he dropped, spanked the ground, wagged his tail once and began running.
Ferox won anyway and jumped on top of the mound of earth that Blaise used as her personal den, crowing like a rooster pheasant before he could catch him and tell him to start being nicer to Val and West. He peeked in and sat back - the twins must not have been home today. Aw shoot, Rontu had been hoping they could add more to the adventure party, it was getting so big they might have been able to make a parade out of it - that would have been fun. Oh well...

Val looked up at West with admiration at understanding her brother, he tail swayed in approval. “Very good.” She said, in a way mother congratulating her pup, the way that she had been congratulated when she did something successfully. Her smile stiffened suddenly as Ferox started to act unfairly.
“Oh, sure, Ferox. Yell and rudely wake me up and then command my life. Yeah, right.” She could feel her temper quickly rising and her face got hot from the intense emotion surfacing. It cooled just as suddenly when she was invited to go, like fire being erased with water. There was part of her who told her not to act so smug, but she couldn’t help but smile and glance at her brother. Hah.
And then Rontu was trying to distract her, soothing her with play and his kind eyes. “I can hear you, Ferox.” She hissed, her attention pulled by both of her brothers, but it landed ultimately on Rontu as she shoved him playfully as he went for her ear. She giggled and then heard Ferox grumble and then suddenly he was off. Her eyes narrowed, her short attention span now recognizing as Ferox took the lead in the adventure. She rolled her eyes and shot off after him, pumping her legs as fast as she could to catch up. Her selfish nature forgetting the others behind her for the moment, trying hard to catch up – but he had too much of an advantage.
“Well, great idea Ferox, no one’s here.” She huffed, glancing at Rontu and West – then back at the too confident Rontu. How badly she wanted to take him off that slope… ooc// i apologize for the great wait <3 <3 <3

West;
The only adult in the growing bunch of pups was thoroughly amused by all of their comical interactions. Their bold expressions and drastically changing emotions brought a big smile to West’s face, and he even laughed at Ferox’s fuming frustration at his invitation to Val. He had tried so hard to not let her join, but West and Rontu would not side with him, forcing him to except the new company and grumble a “fine”. Val’s fury response also made West’s brow rise half an inch. She sure had a bold personality and a feisty attitude, what a great addition to add to the mix.
”Calm down Ferox, it’s always more fun when we can all explore together. “ West found himself trying to make the pup understand the benefits of inviting more playmates, but he already knew it wouldn’t get anywhere. The pup was already distracted with taking charge again. His small little paws kicked up chunks of dirt as he bolted off, taking the lead as he raced to the Alpha’s den. The other two pups caught on immediately to the competition that was forming, and they sped off, leaving West in the dust. The gray male watched with a wide smile. Either this was going to be, like he had originally said, a fun adventure, or it was going to get them in a mess of trouble. West couldn’t help but feel a little nervous as he trotted after the racing pups, his pace keeping good stride.
”Very good Ferox! You successfully led us to our destination. You’re such a great leader!” West beamed at the fawn colored pup as he flaunted his victory. His voice was honest and genuin, and the encouragement was absolutely real, but to Ferox it might have sounded sarcastic. West walked around the den sniffing before he stopped at the entrance where the others were peeking in. None of the scents smelt too fresh, but West still lifted his head to look around for the owner of the den. As the adult of the group of pups, West was going to be held responsible for any trouble, but a rude idea did pop into his mind. He could always blame it on Ferox, he was sure the other pack members, and even the Alpha would know how Ferox was. Preferably West wouldn’t want to use that idea, but if it got that bad, he would maybe rethink it.
Val voiced what West was thinking, and he added to it. ”Where could they be? Should we try and follow the scents and find where they went?” West had no idea what to do next, obviously an empty den was a very low interest to pups, so he thought of the first thing that came to his mind to keep this adventure still fun and hopping. He glanced around at the three pups around him, trying to read their expressions.
((Not sure what we wanted to do next, if we wanted Blaise to make an entrance or bring some others in? Not sure, not sure.))

He quietly asked confused. Once again falling. He began to whimper as a small pool of blood formed round his small paw. "EEP EEEP EEP EEP EEP!" Tears soaked his soft white fur, he just layed down and thought he was over. "eep..." "mama.." he cried hoping shed come and find him. He sighed, his blue eye glistening in the sunlight. He continued crying. As this happend... "mama? i want my mama.." He said saying 2 new words.
