Night seemed to have passed and come again,with it being morning,a black she wolf padded through territory to territory. She was a loner,or lone wolf of sorts. She had heard of the place where it was bloomed all year and young wolves came to find soulmates. It had her curiousity piqued,so she had decided to go out,traveling a good distance to come to this patch of woods. A slight breeze ruffled her dark fur and the sunlight that filtered through the trees hit her blue and violet markings making them glisten and glow a bit. She padded on quietly her pawsteps made no sound on the ground as she approached the link petal littered clearing. She looked about the clearing with bright green eyes. She could see a few wolves off on their own all in groups of two. Typically one male and one female. She smiled some and shook her head slightly curious how this even worked. She was a young she wolf and was only that of two years old. So surely if this looked so easy she should give it a try.


With a brisk whisk of her tail, she took off deeper into the clearing. Spira sent a few petals that had already fallen into the air as she had made her way to a somewhat secluded spot. It was close to a cluster of trees,not too closed off and not too secluded to where she wouldn't be seen.Perfect, She thought as she went at an easy trot over to sit between the cluster of trees. Coming to it,she settled down her green eyes watching the groupdls of wolves off in the distance but she could see those that were alone yet so she laid down for the moment. She rested her head on her black paws her blue ears pricked the purple marking on her blue ears glowing just slightly.

The faint rays of sunlight lit up the ground around Moonlight. The only sound he made was the crackling of dry leaves underpaw. The leaves were quite beautiful though, they were red, orange, yellow, and even pink. He sighed deeply, and pondered why he was traveling to the Forest of Love. He supposed it was because he wanted someone to like be him, or perhaps he wanted puppies. Although, the last thought was speeding it up. He snorted in amusement, his tail tip twitching.

He searched around, looking for any she-wolf who caught his attention. He didn't want a boring soulmate, he wanted someone who really completed him. It couldn't be any old female. As he pondered the fact, a black she-wolf with vibrant markings caught his eye. He smiled, and trotted closer. Perhaps this was his chance, he couldn't blow this.

Moonlight licked his chest a few times, and drew a quick paw over his ears. He had to charm her, and then find out what he could do to make her like him. He smiled a dazzling smile, and walked up. "Hello there miss! The name is Moonlight. Can you grace me with your name perhaps?" he said, trying to be the flirt he was not.

It was only a little bit she had been sitting there for only a few moment. She then saw a wolf coming her direction and she blinked not expecting it. She looked at him for a moment wondering what he was coming towards her for. Thoughts scrambled through her mind many consisting of thought of he wanted to talk or something else. She wasn't sure as he came over she looked him over for a moment flocking a glowing ear."Hi there...is nice to meet you Moonlight I'm Spira Aurina."She said before she paused"you can call me Spira though"she spoke with a smile.

She sat down wrapping a glowing tail around her."so what brings you to the Forest...I mean...i could guess I'm sure I know"she said

Moonlight watched the she-wolf's purposeful flick of an ear with a smile. The female was really pretty, although he would never say it. No matter how much he tried, the tom was not a good flirt. Hopefully his good natures and perhaps looks would woo the wolf over. He looked back at the female as she informed him of her name. Spira Aurina. A pretty name for a stunning wolf.

"Well met, Miss Spira, feel free to call me Moony. It is what my friends call me." The male realized that he didn't really have any true friends. He sighed sadly, and suddenly remembered that their was a female in front of him. He tried to cover up the sad noise with a cough.

Moonlight sat down as his fellow wolf sat. He let his bushy tail lay limp behind him. He chuckled at her question, and awkwardness creeped up his pelt. How did he say, I'm looking for a mate, without being pushy? "Actually, I'm looking for a she-wolf to keep me comfort, and to perhaps start a family with someone. I am not implying you.. but if you wanted to maybe.." he stuttered. "Sorry I'm a pretty awkward wolf sometimes," he said awkwardly.

"Alright...is it fine if I just cool you moon?"She asked looking at him. She smiled some relaxed and comfortable. It was a rather peaceful and beautiful spot. She loved it and the clearing despite the pink was just rather romantic. She couldn't even begin to imagine it was like this year round. Smiling she looked back to the he wolf with her bright green eyes."oh....I'm here for the same reason.....I wouldn't mind..I've wanted to start a family maybe actually a pack but I'm not sure...it's a stretch"she said then paused"it's a stretch i meant for a pack not the family thing...is like to start a family"she said smiling some.

Moonlight watched the colorful wolf with lavender eyes, and he smiled at her suggested nickname for him. "Whatever you see fit. Moon is quite the name if you ask me," he said. He noticed how her eyes traveled across the clearing, and he felt his eyes follow. The pink leaves really created a romantic feel, but this was the Forest of Love.

"Oh?" he asked, at her 'I wouldn't mind'. "I would like to start a family as well. Puppies are so gosh darn cute, but they sure aren't as gorgeous as you Spira." he informed her with a half smile. Moonlight stretched out his forepaws. "Are you hungry Miss? I would be honored to catch you a vole or a mouse." he asked. He hoped this wasn't all in vain. Perhaps Spira Aurina would like him back, or not. Maybe he better step up his game.

Spira smiled some and nodded."alright then I'll call you moon"She said smiling as she liked into his violet eyes for a moment.
She smiled as he spoke aboutpuppies being cute."Yeah they can be cute"she spoke flocking her tail quietly she paused for a moment. She was starting to kinda like this wolf. He then complimented her and she blinked smiling a bit more"um...thank you."She said. She then flicked her ear"I am a little hungry"She said before saying"you'd catch something for me?...that's sweet of you"she said tail wagging just slightly.

Moonlight nodded at her, happy to see she had a name for him. Nicknames were good things, right? It meant you knew each other well enough that you were comfortable calling each other nicknames. He smiled, so far so good.

"Of course they are cute, I don't think I have ever seen an ugly puppy, have you?" he asked with a small chuckle. He swept his tail from underneath him and stood in one fluid motion. He looked back at Spira, and smiled warmly. "The question is, who wouldn't catch something for you?" he asked kindly.

The male inhaled deeply, and almost immediately caught the scent of a squirrel. Dropping into a crouch, he started towards the squirrel. He was very careful not to step on any of the dead leaves, incase they were the crunchy kind. When he was about a wolf-length away he pounced. Paws outstretched, he managed to catch the squirrel underpaw. Swiftly, he bent down and nipped its spine, making a non-bloody kill.

Moonlight grabbed the deceased creature with his jaws, and set it gently by Spira's feet. "Enjoy! I caught it with the thought of love in my heart, so it should be extra amazing," he told her happily. He licked his red-stained maw, trying to make himself more presentable.

Spira smiled some her tail giving a slight wag. She had never seen an ugly puppy and she doubt there were any.she thought of pups as sweet and innocent even if their parents were evil that's still how she seen them. She smiled a bit more."I wouldn't know I'm usually alone and hunting by myself so no one has ever hunted for me"She spoke looking at him."you would be the first one to have hunted for me....though you don't have to if you don't want to"she said blinking her green eyes quietly.

She had watched as he went and hunted. She was quiet for a moment laying on the pink leaves ground. She laid her tail next to her as she had waited. When he returned she looked to squirrel. She blinked and smiled a bit more"thank you and I'm sure it is"she said swetletly before she took a bite from the squirrel and swallowed smiling"it's great here you have some too I'm sure your hungry"she said nudging the squirrel to him to eat some.

Moonlight beamed at the female wolf. "I'll make sure you are never alone again," he said calmly, sitting down next to the female. His ear flicked as she spoke, and he wondered what to say next. The words in his head would sound a lot worse when he actually said them, it was just common knowledge. You had to be simple.

"You are so generous," he said, leaning down to take a bite. He shifted closer so that their pelts were touching. He looked at Spira with wide eyes, wondering if she would get mad at him for shifting closer. Hopefully not. "What now?"

Spira blinked smiling some. She now had someone to start a pack with she just needed wolves. She smiled some and her tailsisturbed the pink leaves as it wagged a bit."thank you..."she said. She watched as he are quietly before she looked around for a moment before she heard movement and her ear flicked before she seen him shift closer their pelts touching. She didn't mind it in fact she enjoyed it. She looked to him quietly for a moment as he asked her what now. She sat quietly for a moment thinking"well I guess start with where we can find a suitable place to live and find other wolves"she said thoughtfully.
