Calypso:
So...Shiver was in Eternal Snowfall. What were the chances of that? For both sisters to not only wander into the same valley, but be accepted into the very same pack! And to have pups on top of that?! The numbers must be astronomical. Shaking her head in disbelief, the light blue shewolf sat herself down among the dry grasses. She hadn't seen shiver in a good four years...was she even the same? Surely she would have changed...Calypso didn't know what to think or what to suspect and so she did the only thing she would. Howl and wait. Raising her head to the sky, she stared into the brisk, teal autumn sky, silvery clouds darted by on invisible gales high above the earth. Only a thin breeze graced the Meadow. Forcing past a sudden lump in her throat, Calypso raised her voice into song, calling to her sister.
Shiver:
Her pups hadn't waited long to leave her, her mate vanished as well. Her pups, she knew they were going to leave someday, her mate...deep in her heart, she supposed she had always known his heart hadn't matched hers. Despite that, she still cared for him. He had never been rotten to her, had always cared for her and valued her. After such a terrible history, Shiver had to be grateful for such good fortune. Alone in her den, Shiver's ears pricked upwards, pinpointing a familiar voice in the musky fall air. "Calypso?" Her voice came as a whisper, unsure of the conclusion she had swiftly come to. There was no doubt about it now. She was calling her now, from inside the territory. Slowly, Shiver hauled herself up to her paws, older body groaning with complaints. With no time to answer, Shiver squeezed from her den and set off through the grasses and towards the sound. It wasn't long before she caught sight of her sister. She was beautiful, the same pale blue that had so many young he wolves after her in the pack so long ago. She was the only one in her family that had such a vibrant coat, Shiver's own had once been a bland grey scale. "Calypso," Shiver breathed out in awe, tears building in her eyes as she closed the distance.
Calypso:
There, climbing over the hill, a wolf. Was that her? As she drew closer Calypso couldn't recognize her by her coat. It was a whitish grey with a blue saddle-patch and yellow stripes. The Shiver she remembered was just grey. But then again she had heard stories about wolves coats changing colors the nearer they got to the mountain. As the shewolf approached, she could see her eyes. the pale gold glistened with tears. It was her. "Shiver," the sisters spoke eachothers names in unison, tears springing to both of their eyes.
