Alexro;
The sky was blotted with white clouds as Alexro padded into the grove. His dandelion eyes noticed small animals scampering away from him which he paid no mind to. Alexro just needed shade, and maybe he was here to disturb the peaceful grove by fighting a wolf. After a while of walking, he found a shady spot underneath a large tree. He instantly slipped to it and turned so he'd face the forest and not the trunk before sitting down. Alexro's fur ruffled softly in the breeze that threatened him about his scent. In all honesty, he was rearing for a fight, albeit one against one or one against two.
OOC: with how I have to make more IC posts i thought why not have one of my evil wolves trespass.

Amora was simply taking a stroll. How unusual. Amora wasn't a wolf to do something that didn't profit her. If she was patrolling or exercising the action would be more in character. However she was simply strolling, her lithe legs springing at a healthy, lazy pace. Her eyes were forward, deep violet orbs glazed dizzily. It was summer, so warm and so very green, yet only her subconscious witnessed the sheer majesty of the Grove in Summer. Her mind was elsewhere, also very strange for such a down-to-earth wolf. Where was her mind? Somewhere incredibly foreign and dangerous. Someplace it had never before ventured, only daring peeks and glanced. Her mind was in the world of romance.
Amora was not one to be an air-headed, bubbly shewolf. No, she was decisive and precise. And yet she was torn. Her heart was torn if we are doing specifics.
On one hand there was a wolf. He was handsome, talented, Sheba had given him a power. She had met him long ago, he shared her audacity, ambition and confidence. He was a logical choice for a mate. Very advantageous.
However, on the other hand was another male. He was tall, handsome. He matched her wit and turn of phrase, he was responsible, kind. He had been promoted too. Surely Blaise would approve?
When had she ever cared about her approval?! Never had she let her mothers qualms dictate her actions! And yet...Amora found herself wanting approval and attention from her mother. Surely it was simply in a business relationship. Not mother to daughter, but Alphess to Betess.
Amora sighed, walking on, shaking the fog from her eyes, and yet the fog in her heart still pulsed. Her logic and desire were at war. Her left brain and her right brain were at war.
However, that was the least of her concerns as a strange smell caught her attention. Wolf. And definitely not Secluded Sunrise. A growl wanted to rise in her throat, but as she caught sight of the wolf between the trees, she smirked. Why not play with her prey a little? It has been awhile since she had challenged herself. First item of business was to restrain her quarry. And so, she replicated the tactic she had used when encountering Epicenter...the bushes shook in the breeze, shaking, shaking, creaking and snapping. They moved to create a wall, tiny, honey colored turns sprouting to crown their edges. The first layer of defense. Next the trees began to groan, singing their baseline with a labored hum, as if coming truly alive for the first time in centuries. The dead wood was still malleable, although it's brittle attitude tended to resist her touch. They twisted and weaved their white, skeletal fingers together, creating a colosseum around the intruder, leaving the sky open. With a cocky smirk, Amora stepped out of the darkness, head high and eyes glinting. She had been so dreadfully bored these past few days...finally a chance for entertainment! She wasn't evil, but smacking around someone weaker than her, although admittedly a little cruel, was pure fun. Manipulating the dead wood so extremely had taken a chunk of her energy out of her, and so she let her abilities rest while she attacked. Physically? Oh no! Don't be silly. Amora began her assault with her voice. As Betess, hurting an intruder could be controversial. Only if they deserved a beating would she oblige.
"With whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?"

Alexro;
It was sudden, so sudden even Alexro jumped up. The bushes around him began to form a wall around him. Then the trees began to hum as they moved. Alexro found himself frozen in shock before he shook his head. A wolf, female by the scent and looks of said wolf, stepped out from the darkness. Alexro then let his tail fall behind him as she spoke. "With whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?" He looked at the female, eyes narrowed and he possessed a hard scowl. "Since you asked so formally, you have the pleasure and luck to meet Alexro." He lowly grumbled before straightening his posture. Alexro made a mental note to ask about what happened to cause the plants and trees to move.

Kanga, Manaaki;
So this is what it felt like to be promoted within a pack, eh? Kanga's powerful shoulders rolled under his skin, flashing red fur beneath the brown wherever the muscle rose to the surface. It only made sense to make him a Warrior. The only wolf he had seen since coming to the valley that was even close to his size and stature, other than his twin of course, was Epsilon. He was a much quieter soul than Kanga though—even than Manaaki, come to think of it—and seemed to have his own sort of things going on. No, it made Kanga proud to support the pack in this way. If he could throw his weight around and do some good, well, then why not? His big head turned in a wide arc, angled upward, as he walked slowly along the path. It was summer, and the leaves all around him were in full green. The ground, of course, was still burnt black in some places (though fewer with every passing year), but it was hard to ignore the life all around. Kanga's eyes glinted and he sped up.
He took a random turn a little ways down the path, and suddenly heard a voice. His ear flicked and he automatically turned towards the sound. The voice... female. Who was it, exactly? It was only a moment before he placed the sound with the Alphess' daughter Amora (though he remembered well that if anyone were to refer to her simply as the Alphess' daughter, she would have something to say about it), and quickened his pace when he heard an unfamiliar male voice reply. Upon reaching the clearing, Kanga slowed to a subtle walk, and eased himself through the leaves behind and to Amora's left, silent and ever-intimidating. His eyes, ringed with silver, narrowed and he squared his shoulders, observing. The male before them was not especially large, but he was tall and thick of neck. A half-smile quirked Kanga's lips as he bent his neck downward to look at the male. Even males who were considered large by a long-shot were still small next to Kanga.
He said nothing at first, allowing Amora her introduction and a reply to what the male had said, but he was there beside her, and that counted for a great deal. His eyes flicked first to Alexro, and then to the treeline. The boys had been walking together earlier, Manaaki having left the border for the day, but they had since parted ways; however, if Kanga knew anything, he would bet that Manaaki was lurking just within the shadows of the trees. He never seemed to miss anything, that one—and when wolves were as connected as those two were, well, suffice it to say that one never needed the other for long before they showed up.

With a jolt, the intruder leaped to his paws, obviously startled by the strange, unearthly happenings around him. This reaction made Amora toss her head and let out a satisfied chuckle. However he soon hardened up, acting tough and self-righteous. What a way to ruin it. Amora rolled her eyes and her dominating pose fell into an intimidating slouch. She skunk foreword with a sigh, a slight rustling to her right causing her to reassess her surroundings. The scent in the breeze was obviously Secluded Sunrise, so she wasn't too concerned. However, she might have to start acting more professional. She rolled her shoulders back and pushed her ears forward. "I don't care who you are, though you'd be wise to care who I am." Amora growled with a whisper, a hint of a smirk remaining in her eyes.
The multi-colored female paused in her advance to mentally assess her situation. There was at least one wolf in the brush she had enclosed around her quarry, spectators or supporting characters they would prove to be one of the two. The wolf in front of her was a male. He obviously knew where he was, for the border was marked so clearly a blind wolf could see it. This wolf had trespassed on purpose. Why? To see someone? To annoy? To hurt? Whatever the reason, if it was good they should have howled. Either their circumstance was of utmost urgency or they were here for unimportant and, quite likely, malicious purposes. The latter had to be true as this wolf was found leaning nonchalantly against the charred bark of a Secluded Sunrise tree. He was cocky, his attitude crossing the thin line between bravery and idiocy. The very thought of such a disrespect drowned her peppy mood and set her pelt on end.
"I am Betess Amora, and you must recognize your fault. So I advise you to leave or scrabble for the best excuse this valley has seen." The shewolf hissed with narrow eyes.
(Sorry guys, not feeling it today)

Alexro could hear the female whisper something but he was rather too uninterested in her to listen completely. It was when another scent drifted to his nose, did he really begin to pay attention. Male, and probably of what ever pack decided to call this place home. The she wolf hissed, "I am Betess Amora, and you must recognize your fault. So I advise you to leave or scrabble for the best excuse this valley has seen." Apon hearing this, Alexro simply hummed in acknowledgement before a small smirk spread across his face. "Why I am truly sorry for trespassing. I'd love to take your advice, but I kindly refuse." He said in a thundering, low voice. He took a step forward and looked at Amora. "I do feel honored to be in the presence of a Betess, though. I mainly associate with Alphas when it comes to hunting my bounty." He lowered his head slightly to show respect.

Kanga, Manaaki;
Amora had given him some sort of chance, but the male before her named Alexro replied sarcastically and in a would-be threatening voice. Kanga held back, both wolves in his view, but he felt a flicker of anger lick the insides of his being. Just who exactly did this male think he was? It wasn't until the male took a step forward and said outright that he thought he was hunting, that Kanga walked out of the bushes. He came to stop right beside Amora, meeting her eye for just a moment before turning to the male. Kanga towered over him, and that was saying something, since up close it was even more apparrent that the intruder wasn't exaclty a small wolf. He tilted his neck downwards, meeting the stranger's eyes, his own face a mask.
"Bounty hunting? I think you must be confused. The betess of the pack you are intruding upon has just made a request of you—more still, she has offered you advice. A clever wolf would heed her." Kanga's voice was beyond deep, and as usual, with the hint of a growl in the back of his throat. He gave his mane a shake once, flashing the red fur underneath, then sat beside his betess. He didn't look away from the male. He felt no fear. Amora was more than able to protect herself as well, but how could this male before them know what she was capable of? Being standoffish with an earth elemental in the middle of a forest was foolish at best, but threatening them? Why, that was downright funny, and Kanga never missed a joke. A smile quirked at the corner of his mouth, flashing his obscene teeth. He had no power of his own, of course, but sometimes males responded more quickly to other males, especially when one was quite a bit larger than the other.
Manaaki had not made himself known yet, if he was truly in the trees, but Kanga had a feeling he was. He could not smell his twin, but with the enclosure that Amora had made around them, even if Manaaki had been tailing Kanga in the shadows, it was now more than likely that he was there too.

Amora snarled, her tail flaring up into the air like a rattlesnakes signature. Bounty Hunting? She was about to spit venom when Kanga approached the two, coming to stand by her side as a reinforcement. In a different situation she would've sarcastically told him to fight his won battles, but right now she didn't mind his presence. He growled a reply, advising the trespasser to heed her warning. Amora had thought she had been much too reasonable. She had given this male so many chances. It was time to assert dominance. Secluded Sunrise would not be intimidated. Much less by a scrawny bounty hunter like him. This male seemed much too relaxed and self-assured, honestly it hurt her pride that she wasn't taken seriously. She wasn't a small she wolf, she fancied herself to be a wolf to be reckoned with, and yet she had been so blatantly disrespected! With Kanga at her side, the male would surely apologize and tuck his tail. Kanga was indeed a gargantuan wolf, he could easily squash the vile cockroach before them. If the intruder didn't preform what was expected of him, he would surely be a complete fool. To not recognize when he was beat. He was cornered by two powerful wolves, caged in a impenetrable fence, in the center of Secluded Sunrise territory, home to the most stubborn wolves in the valley. It would be truly unwise and completely futile to rebel any longer.
"Come on, scum, you're leaving." She lunged at the male ready to grab his scruff forcefully. One of the straps securing her prosthetic had stretched like a collar over her vulnerable neck, sprouting knife-sharp, black thorns. No wolf would get the best of her.

Alexro wanted to laugh when the she wolf snarled and flared up her tail. He fought in the laugh, however, and leaped to one side when the female lunged. Alexro's paws slid to the far left side of the arena, where he then stood and stared at the two wolves. The other male was quite taller than himself, but that didn't discourage Alexro. "Look, Ma'am, I gave you some respect," He said, his face forming his regular scowl. "And you, sir. You may be tall but so am I. You both will not beat me so easily, no matter what you throw at me." His body rippled as he set himself in a defensive position, ready to sprint from either side to escape anything this small arena could bring him. (Alexro is a tall wolf. I thing he'd go mid neck to Kanga. wwm-5.proboards.com/thread/5859/alexro )

((Ehh, I don't know about that, Doctor. Alexro is a tall wolf, but I designed Kanga and Manaaki to be pretty darn huge, and they both grew up wrestling with each other so they are quite familiar with throwing their weight around. But we'll let Rykett mod it all and see how it plays out.)) Kanga;The wolf before them claimed that he had given Amora respect—so Kanga must have been hard of hearing, or incredibly stupid, because he sure missed it. There had been nothing but half-witted sarcasm and rude observations made from the intruding male so far. But that was besides the point—it was just about to get interesting. The fact that the male even thought he stood a chance, even against Amora alone, was laughable. She was an earthen elemental, surrounded by that which she could control and bend to her will. Kanga could probably just sit back and watch, and Amora would be completely fine on her own; but then again, Kanga hadn't tumbled with anybody lately, and he was itching for some excitement. "Now, although stating your height was a crucial and highly intelligent thing to do, believe it or not, I can actually see you with my own eyes." He smirked, shaking his head at the male and rolling his eyes. But then the intruder got defensive, and Kanga stopped thinking of everything save the moment. His eyes flicked to the line of bushes and he saw, for the first time, the glint of his brothers' silver fur. A wicked grin split his maw, and his teeth flashed out in the air. The twins were a force to be reckoned with when working together. Amora lunged then, which sent Alexro dodging to the side—but that was all for the better for Kanga. Kanga leaps forward, propelling his body across the arena with sheer power, staying low to the ground. He covers the distance in the blink of an eye, and will attempt to slam his big shoulder directly into Alexro's chest while he is distracted by Amora. If Kanga's attack lands and Alexro is thrown backward towards the treeline, Manaaki will leap out of the bushes and pound Alexro's back with his hind legs in a powerful, donkey-style kick.

.::Alexro’s dodge is nearly successful, but one of Amora’s teeth graze in his shoulder. As Kanga had anticipated, however, Alexro’s dodge puts him right in Kanga’s path. The large male’s attack is also successful and sends Alexro stumbling towards the treeline. Manaaki’s kick is a bit off. His right leg misses, but his left leg hits Alexro with full force pushing Alexro to the left.::.

Respect? The scrawny flea-bitten pest dodged her lungs with a smirk and a growl. Surely this wolfs mind was not all there. He was a tall wolf, but a foolish wolf never won. As Kanga reared his head with a witty comeback a grin spread onto Amora’s muzzle. She wasn’t her mother, now wasn’t a time for her to be professional and diplomatic. There was a time in place, and now was neither. Now was the time and place for a bit of fun and good old fashioned ownage. Alexro’s shoulder was torn under her tooth as he fled, his chest barreled into by the hulk that was Kanga. Then from the brush emerged a rippling wave of silver that struck the intruder in the side, sending him sprawling into the young forest around him. Manaaki...she had known he wouldn’t be too far behind. ”Hello there boys,” She laughed a greeting, the sound resonating in her chest almost like a purr. Her powermark flared once again and she whipped a razor wire of thorns at Alexro. Even if he caught the projectile the thorns would impale his cheek. And those thorns were wicked sharp and barbed at the tips. A toughie to get loose. Amora had a mind indeed. She was very practical, strict, to the rule book and nearly always right. And when she wasn’t gloriously professional she was dangerously clever with a cruel streak. She could have fun and have her laughable clumsy moments, but she hadn’t had much time to be a kid...

Stabbing pain in Alexro's shoulder made him struggle to suppress a yelp, but when he was rammed into and kicked hard by some wolf, he let the yelp out. He was knocked to the left and out of the corner of his eye, thorns flew towards him. He ducked, but still slightly dizzy from the kick he actually lurched down and hit the ground, and hard. As if he had sense, he stayed down, but his eyes glared up at the wolfess. "This does not seem fair. But what am I to judge? I've lost to many wolves before." He growled and stayed on the ground, ready for whatever came his way.

Kanga, Manaaki;
Manaaki felt his right leg clear the male, which hurt his joints a bit, but his left leg made contact and swallowed up most of the force. He staggered only slightly, whipping around in time to see Alexro duck some thorns from Amora and stay down. Unfortunately for Manaaki, one of the wicked thorns cleared Alexro's head and lodged itself deep into his paw. He didn't groan or even yelp, for the boys were good with pain; in fact, not even Kanga noticed his quiet intake of breath.
Amora grinned at the pair of them once Alexro was down and greeted them smugly, which earned her a smile each. Manaaki somehow managed not to limp as he circled away from the trees and sat across from the other two, sucessfully flanking Alexro should he try to get up again. He tilted his head, meeting the male's eyes. Now there were two giants to contend with. Kanga pranced in front of Alexro's head, forming a triangle that would be nearly impossible to escape from unharmed. Cleverly though, rather than try to continue the fight, Alexro spoke.
"Unfair?!" Kanga threw his head back and bellowed his laughter to the canopy of trees above. "Of course it seems unfair, are you dim?" "It's not exactly supposed to be a fair fight..." Manaaki put in, glancing at Amora and giving her a private grin. The smile came out only slightly strained as the thorn forced its way deeper into his paw. "You are tresspassing on our land," Kanga continued where his twin left off, bending his head to look Alexro (still on the ground) in the eyes. "We are the force you met when you refused to leave and disrespected our Betess. There is no fair about it."
A smart wolf would stay down, and from the looks of it, Alexro knew he was beaten. The boys' ears flicked in unison as both focused onto the stranger, waiting and watching for any sign that he would try to get up again. If he did so in a hostile manner, they would react faster than he could and close in on him, forcing him down again until he was ready to leave in a respectable way.
((I think we're okay to move forward now without Rykett, correct?))

Her thorns missed. Amora lifted a lip in annoyance and lashed her tail. Couldn’t she get one hit on this scrap?! Flicking her ear she dismissed the thought. He was down and he was staying there. Kanga and Manaaki sent her a grin each and that alone made her glow. What would she do without her boys?
...Probably beat Alexro to a pulp with no restraint...
Amora retracted her thorns and shook out her smooth black pelt, her deep violet eyes flashing as she stood over the trespasser. Kanga and Manaaki took turns twisting the wolf’s words against him. Amora waited patiently for her turn. She had waited this long to get a punch in. They spoke of respect and fairness. No, it wasn’t to be a fair fight. From the moment he laid a paw over the border, mind toying with the idea of disrespect and vandalism, he had lost the fight.
”Who are you to judge?” She flexed a her paw out in front of her, placing her claws on his cheek and pushing him into the ground. ”The first mildly intelligent thing I’ve heard from your mouth,” She mused, a smug grin on her lips. ”I am the judge here, I decide your fate. And luckily enough for you this isn’t an evil pack and I would consider myself a...merciful Betess.” She purred, pressing harder on his skull. ”You will leave here alive, or you won’t leave here at all. Make your choice.” She advised him one final time, letting him up and stepping back, tail in a line behind her. She released the trees from her grip, the forest letting out a sigh as if the trees had been holding their breath. Rolling her shoulders, she whispered her command to the intruder.
”Run.”
(I think we’re good, and instead of creating a new thread for Amora and Manaaki, we can do that here while she doctors his paw.)
