Please read the Starting a Pack thread for information on forming your pack before claiming territory.
There are nine territories at White Wolf Mountain, and packs that have claimed territory are the only ones who will have the largest litters, the most recognition, and the best possible living conditions. Not all territories are created equal, however, as they vary in size and location.

There are nine territories at White Wolf Mountain, and packs that have claimed territory are the only ones who will have the largest litters, the most recognition, and the best possible living conditions. Not all territories are created equal, however, as they vary in size and location.
Here's what you need to know:
- There are nine territories.
- A territory may only be claimed by one pack at once. Therefore, there can only be nine packs at once, max.
- To claim a territory, a pack must claim an empty one or fight/negotiate for a claimed one.
- There can only be three packs of each alliance at most, to keep things balanced. So, there can never be more than three Good, Neutral, or Evil packs.
- However, if there are unclaimed territories an alliance can outnumber another. For example, there can be 3 Neutral packs, 2 Good packs, 1 Evil pack, and 3 empty territories—although because there are already 3 Neutral packs in this scenario only Good and Evil packs would be able to claim the empty territories.
- There are three types of territory:
- Small = Can support up to 10 wolves
- Medium = Can support up to 20 wolves
- Large = Can support up to 35 wolves
- Only one pack from each alliance can hold one of the three territories of the same size. Ie, there should only be one large good territory, one large neutral territory, and one large evil territory etc.
- The territories, by size and location, are:
Bleak Bluffs (large), Outer Reaches (medium), and Barren Wastes (small) are the territories of The Barrens.
Sequoia Woods (large), Sapling Grove (medium), and Wildflower Clearing (small) are the territories of The Forest.
Tranquil Meadows (large), Hidden Glade (medium), and Longrass (small) are the territories of The Grasslands.- Four wolves are required to claim a small territory, five are required to claim a medium territory, and six are required to claim a large territory. These wolves must be played by different players.
- A pack can not claim a territory that is too small, but they can claim a territory that is much larger than necessary.
- A pack can challenge another pack for territory of any alliance.
- If a pack outgrows its territory, it must move to a larger territory or disband some of its members.
- A litter of pups counts as one member until they are able to hunt on their own.
