Making friends(only for daisy and Thanatos)

Daisy walked until her legs where tired. She layed down thinking about food. She was to weak to catch anything so she went to sleep. She woke up and started to hunt. She caught two rabbits and a mouse to fill her up. She smelled the air and could smell a wolf coming so she saved the mouse for that wolf. She layed down and waited for the new wolf. She hoped this wolf was really nice so she didn't have to fight. She was a really unique wolf. A black wolf with grey belly and paws with a lot of scars and really skinny. She smiled at what others thought she looked like.

Thanatos was setting a brisk pace for himself as he trotted through the forest. There was a chill in the air that clung to his whiskers like drops of morning dew. He hated the colder weather-It made the forest seem empty and barren. The day had been unforgiving, as far as hunting went. The hunger sat deep in his gut, gnawing and gurgling. How he wished his stomach didn't taunt him! As he approached a clearing, the coppery sweet scent of recently spilled blood wafted past his nostrils. A fresh kill? That could only mean one thing. Either a friendly face with a willingness to share complete with a smiling blood drenched maw, or it was someone who would bare their fangs and chase him off like the foxes usually did. Thanatos sat to think for a minute, scratching at his torn ear-a trophy from a bears claw that had been just quick enough to swipe him back when he was smaller, and not quite as fast. After much debate, he decided to follow the scent. The pangs of hunger were just too much to ignore. Besides, if the stranger was not feeling generous, he could always run away. There are very few things in the forest faster than he was. He walked cautiously as he followed the scent. After several minutes, he had found the source. Peering through the bushes, he caught sight of a female wolf laying down at he edge of a clearing, with a dead mouse resting at her paws. Blood spattered the forest floor around her, smelling of earthy and gamey rabbit. Thanatos hesitated. Social interaction wasn't something you learn by watching other animals in the forest. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to try. With a deep breath, he pushed his lean body through the dense vegetation, and stepped into the clearing, keeping his blind eye out of this stranger's line of sight. He summoned all of his courage, and spoke in a soft voice.

"Hello there."

Daisy smiled when the wolf she saw appreader. She noticed he was mostly grey with a little white and black. She pushed the dead mouse forward knowing that most all wolves in a forest are hungry. "hello there." He said. "hello my name is Daisy and don't be afraid I won't hurt does it look like I can." she said in a joking behavior. For being skinny have having so many scars from being attacked as a pup she hated fighting because her scars would open up. "you can eat this mouse it's not that bad." she told him the layed down. She waited for the male to eat so they could talk because she loved talking to others.

OOC: Daisy's backstory is she was with her parents until six months then a loner wolf killed them and almost killed her but let her free. She walked days and days with no food. When more animals attacked she just didn't fight back until one day when she was one a loner came and rescued her from a Fox attack. They became best friends and her family. When she was two that loner died protecting her against the wolf that killed her parents so she got angry and finally fought back and Killeen the wolf. Just wanted you to know so you can understand all the scars and her being skinny.

A free meal was hard to decline. The hunger rolled in the pit of Thanatos' stomach like waves crashing into the shore. Mouse wasn't exactly his idea of fine dining, but it would suffice for now. Never being a man of much tact, he gobbled up the mouse in his strong jaws, the bones crunching and popping.

"Thanks, Daisy" He managed through a full mouth.

Blood dribbled down his chin like a tiny crimson river. With a huge gulp, rodent was gone. Thanatos licked his chops clean and sat down a few feet away from the smaller female. His long tail flicked back and forth behind his slender frame. Through his good eye. he scanned the female, looking for anything that could be perceived as a threat. He was still a bit unsure of the intentions of this stranger. Probably better to keep some distance for now, at least until he figures her out. Not sure of what to do or say next, he decided to introduce himself, as the female had.

"Uh, I'm Thanatos. How long have you been out here?" He asked, as his big paws scratched awkwardly at the ground.

Daisy smiled when he finished the mouse. She loved to help others. uh I'm Thanatos how long have you been out here? He asked and she answered. "well I have been here for two days now just lying around not knowing what to do." she said smiling at him. "im just a loner like most wolves in these forest."/font] she smiled at him. "what brings you here to this forest." she asked him. She wondered why this wolf was here and why he seemed uneasy when she told him she wouldn't hurt him. She started at the male waiting for an answer.
