BoomerAsena; With winter comes the harsh weather that freezes over vegetation and many sources of water, keeps a lot of the prey in hiding, in turn, causing some of the predators to become malnourished, but, because of those points, winter is Asena's favorite season. The lack of wolves walking around in the open finally give her a break from the annoying personalities that come with them. Kai lake is frozen over. The rim of the ice, coming into contact with the land, is covered in a thick, fluffy, blanket of snow along with the rest of the ground. From the look of it, the lake is frozen solid, but from visiting the lake earlier in the year, Asena knew that the lake was far too deep to freeze completely solid, especially this early in the winter season. The predominantly dark-pelted female sits at the edge of the ice, looking into the frozen lake, seeling a few small bubbles hit the surface of the ice, only to become stuck and remain there; another sign that the lake isn't frozen solid and most likely will begin to crack under the weight of a wolf. Her fiery eyes look up to scan the land around her with a slightly raised eyebrow, wondering if she's truly alone. The female's body tenses and her eyes squint slightly as the feeling of someone being nearby washes over her. She was not looking forward to meeting another wolf, especially when the current season is known for the lack of life wandering around the valley.

Kaiko;
Yay! A frozen Kai Lake... No wolves would be around here, or at least SHOULD not be around here. There is really no reason for anyone to come here, there was little food to be found and it was ice cold.
The white and black wolf had been staring at the frozen lake for a while, just sitting, not doing anything but grinning wildly. He finally took a step over the frozen lake just to feel how cold it was. He then put his whole body over it, trying to see if the lake can hold his weight. Kaiko knew of the risks but of course didn't care. Kaiko slipped a few times but got the hang of it but he growled because he failed the first few times. He slowly started walking, or gliding in this case across the lake, Kaiko was almost enjoying himself until he saw another wolf just a few feet away. what was another wolf doing here? in Kai Lake? does that wolf not know that Kai Lake is his land? He needed to get this wolf out of here and fast. Kaiko never got of the frozen lake but he glided to the female and was kind of close to her face "What are you doing here? This is my land, and no one is suppose to be here." he gave a low growl to the female and would be ready to attack her even though if she was to fight back he would surely slip.

Asena;
The infuriating voice of a wolf threatening to dismiss the young female's peace and quiet. It's obviously the voice of a male, a seemingly arrogant one at that based on the actual words he says, something along the lines of questioning Asena's presence at the lake, and then claiming said lake as his own
How dare he. How. Dare. He. Outwardly, Asena is cool and collected, not a trace of emotion visible on the female's hyena-like visage or her thin, petit form, but on the inside, her blood boils with a rage that burns with the firepower of more than a few suns. With a snarl, she speaks, well knowing that at the moment, she has the upper hand based purely because the male was sliding around on the ice, and not very gracefully at that.
"Bad idea. You don't even need to take a faulty step for me to have a chance to kill you." The slick coated female gives a half scoff, half snort-laugh, plastering a smirk on her maw.
Let's see if this male is able to keep her from pouncing, to take a quick chunk out of his neck. I wouldn't be much of a danger for her considering their positioning at the moment.

Kaiko;
The female had threatened him, does she really think she can take him on? Kaiko gave a wild grin, thinking how pathetic the female was. "Do you really think you can take me on? Really?" Kaiko gave a quick snort at the female then looked down at his feet realizing he could slip any moment. Kaiko still grinned and did not look up "Do you think that just because I'm on slippery ice. You could kill me?" He shook his head sideways in a "no" manner. He got off the frozen lake and looked at the small lanky female.
Kaiko analyzed the female's every movement, and appearance. She looked evil but Kaiko did not really care which wolves belong to what alliance. But one thing intrigued him, it was her hyena like face. Kai tilted his head and nearly forgot about this female "trespassing". He gave a small grin to the female "Alright then, Let me say a few things..... Kai is my name. I HATE other wolves.. especially when they go around my lake, " He leaned a little closer to the female really close to her face but he still kept his guard up as he thought she might try to pull something on him "And I am VERY crazy..." Kaiko never wiped his grin off his face then a pulled his head back to where he could give some space.

Asena;
The female smirks as she steps a paw on the ice, putting all of her weight on the one paw, only to be rewarded a satisfying crack beneath the surface that's only confirmed by the ice beginning to fracture. The smug look doesn't disappear as she looks up at the male who's standing in the middle of the freezing lake, soon to be dunked under.
The female stares at the male for a second as the ice continues creating creaking and cracking noises beneath his weight. Then suddenly the smug look disappears and she gives a roll of her eyes, leaning over and grabbing at whatever she could latch onto with her teeth, pulling him off of the fracturing ice, and over by her.
Her slender body resembles that of a hyena, matching her face shape and features perfectly, other than the long tail. Heck, if she was thrown into the Savanna and given a more natural color, even the hyenas would believe she was one of them.
"I would if I could guarantee my life. I'm not going to fight every wolf that I set eyes on because I'm some careless brute." And she wasn't. In no way did the female look like a brute. She was petit, much smaller than an average wolf, giving her a weak look, although most of her body mass is just bone and muscle, giving her as much strength she needs to at least do well in the fights she does take on. Well enough to come out of it alive at least or not so injured that she's beyond repair.

Kaiko;
The male shook his pelt then looked at the female. His muscular body had barely shivered from excitement, but then quickly ruined by the fact the female saved him from possibly drowning. "Awww." he said in a sad but sarcastic tone. He was so close to death.. poor Kaiko wanting to die so badly, but with his luck, Kaiko would probably never die (of course he would die when he is old but he just wanted that to happen sooner) "Now I must know your name." Kai gave a small growl but it wasn't because of her. Kaiko stopped growling and suddenly gave a hyena like laugh, of course he did not look like a hyena, not one bit- but he laughs just like one, like he was friends with one or something.
Kai then looked at the female to see her reaction if she would give one. Kaiko slowly panted and one of his eyes twitched, this only happened every so often so it might not be a problem. "So you say you are not a careless brute? I'll believe that. But let me guess, you think about your attacks before you do them, right?" He grinned as he asked the question, wondering what the petit female would say.

Asena;
The male seems disappointed at the narrow escape of being frozen alive, to which in return the female scoffs. What kind of wolf is disappointed at being saved? Ha. Well, either way, it doesn't matter. Maybe prolonging his life is paining him.
The female abandons her thoughts on the male as soon as his words followed by a screeching laugh pierce the smaller wolf's ears, "Now I must know your name."
The female raises an eyebrow with a frown plastered on her mouth,
"Why does my name concern you?" Her words come out as less of a question and more of a, "Like hell I'll give you my name." Completely ignoring the laugh and just assuming it was his only little idea to get under her skin and annoy her, she stays silent waiting to see if he has anything else to say. As if reading her thoughts, the male speaks, breaking the small silence,
"So you say you are not a careless brute? I'll believe that. But let me guess, you think about your attacks before you do them, right?" With a small nod Asena doesn't need to think of how she'll answer. It's just a given that she'd think about what she does. In her mind, it's a race to see who can live longer all the while being able to be a part of dangerous things.
With simple words, the smaller female answers calmly, void of any emotion other than the frown that lays on her face, hiding the jagged teeth that lie beneath her lips,
"Of course."

Kaiko;
"Why does my name concern you?" Kaiko made a small grin which would then become a small scoff. The females name did not concern him, not one bit. "If I'll be honest, I don't care what your name is, heck, lie to me about your name for all I care. I just want to know the name of the wolf whom had saved my life. I believe that if a wolf was to ever save my life, there would be a meaning to that. A meaning I really don't understand yet. Maybe I just can't die because somewhere out there, a wolf needs to be killed and by my paws too. So if you saved me, I need to kill some wolf out there. And I think I'll know which wolf when I come across him. "
His words were true, yet he sounded a little annoyed from his statement. Kai looked at the female giving her a look like "that wolf is not you". Of course it wouldn't be her, he did say "him" after all.
"Of course" The female answered his question with small simple words. Phew, Kai liked a wolf to just say small answers. Kaiko's tail swayed side to side in a normal pace then he lowered his head and stretched.

Asena;
Asena nods calmly, actually glad that he couldn't care less about her name but she speaks no words until he brings up the fact that she's saved his life. Then, she opens her mouth, allowing her reasoning to find its way out and past her jagged teeth, in the form of a honeyed voice,
Perhaps, I simply had a feeling that you still have purpose in this world." If anything at all, this wolf could be to Asena's use. With her eyebrows furrows, the female eyes the male. Yes, he'll do just fine.
Only thinking a minute about how this wolf could be of use to the female brought her to a conclusion- It was just a feeling that caused her to save him from death and she's already figured out what do to with him. Keeping a wolf around to do her dirty work is just what she needs, especially being as petite as she is.
The female stands, beginning to walk away without a word. She won't go too far, but she figures that this wolf doesn't appreciate listening to others talk as much as he likes listening to himself. Her tail hangs still as she walks away, it's only movement coming from gravity and her weight shifting in her hips.

Kaiko;
"Perhaps, I simply had a feeling that you still have a purpose in this world." Kai tilted his head but then nodded. Kaiko was intrigued (for the first time ever) from the female, her appearance was one thing, then her attitude. Kaiko would not mind much hanging around a wolf like her... He needs wolves to be more like her (really its more like him but not everyone can be Kaiko)
Kai stands up as he watched the female walk away without saying another word. He tilted his head curiously but then grin because the female finally got out of "his" land.
Eh, maybe she might come back. Kai lied down on his side belly and the snowy surface and closed his eyes.

Asena;
With a quick return, most likely to the male's dismay, the female just got up to move her limbs and get the blood flowing to warm her body up in the cold weather. Plus, it allowed her to see what the male would do. And the grin that is plastered to his face just brings Asena back quicker just out of spite.
As soon as the female returns, she gently places herself about two feet from the male and she silently watches his movements and mannerisms. What is he thinking of, ever? Is he really just going to fall asleep in the middle of the snow, next to an iced over lake and a random wolf that he's met literally minutes ago?
The female, whose coat is mostly derived from red, sighs quietly to herself. how has this wolf stayed alive for this long? He obviously doesn't have a care in the world, so what is keeping him alive? With a shake of her head, she decides that there's no point in thinking on it any longer as she won't soon come to a conclusion.

Kaiko;
With his eyes closed, Kai could hear footsteps approaching. Assuming that the female had return, Kaiko made a small grin that he would only know of. Kai Opened his eyes and his red eyes were glowing just a little, he got up but didn't face the female just yet. His tail wrapped around him and paws touching the frozen lake, Kai chuckled a little with a small side grin on his face.
Kai thinks for moments about his life, then he finally looked at the female. Now usually he would have growled and asked "ugh, why did you come back!? I was so better off without you here!" but he felt this female did not really deserve that kind of treatment. Kaiko had very few (and I mean very few) wolves that he would not kill, but only if he gets something in return such as killing more wolves or something else.
Kaiko had hatred for every wolf he met and every wolf he did not meet. He had very little hatred for the hyena like she wolf. So maybe they can work it out somehow, he did not know how just yet. But he can probably think of something.

Asena;
Now she's sure that he's noticed her presence return, but he didn't snap at her to leave "his" territory, causing the female to tilt her head all the while keeping the usual indifferent look she has on her face. Maybe he's figured out that his attempts at driving her out are futile, or he's just decided to ignore her.
With a small 'hmph,' a sign that the thin female has finished her thoughts, she turns to look at the hole in the ice that was made a few minutes ago. Her eyes drift back over to the male who's laying still. Asena raises her eyebrow and asks,
"Are you still alive?" It would be very disappointing for her to have saved his life from freezing in water and have him die from freezing next to the water, only minutes later.

Kaiko;
"Are you still alive?" the small female asked. Kaiko made a quiet chuckle, he did not open his mouth at all. With a sigh of relief, Kaiko answered with a wicked grin on his face "Of course I'm alive." Its not like I could die anyways. Kai walked a little back away from the lake. His eyes narrowed staring at the ground, something was moving but could not see so well if that something matched the stupid snow.
Kaiko growled lowly as he watched the ground. It looked kind of creepy when his eyes narrow, its all red... with yellow... and blue and black all around.. Gah!
Kai's tail twitched and so did his ears, his snarl was almost loud. Kai bent down and continued to stare, although nothing was there. His mind tells him something is there and he needs to kill it. Crazy.

Asena;
The sleek coated female waits for the male's words to pierce the crisp, cold air. And when they did, her mind shut off, not listening to his words. The sound of his voice was enough to answer her question. Anything that was said didn't mean much to her.
Looking over her shoulder at the male also provided information. He wasn't looking at her, waiting for her to answer or have a reaction, so he must not have said anything else of importance. He simply started walking away. He seemed to be stalking toward something. Asena's fiery orange and yellow eyes watched the male closely, her ears pointing in his direction in an attempt to pick up on anything other than the sound of Kai's paws crunching in the snow. But, she couldn't pick up on anything, so, instead, she stands up and begins toward him.
If he was trying to pounce on anything, she wouldn't be the one to scare it away. Her small paws and light build made her movement quiet through the snow. The slight wind coming through only quieted her steps further.
Kai, on the other hand, was quite loud. He snarls and growls all the while taking heavy steps through the shallow depths of the snow.
Asena stands a few feet behind the male and watches him bend down to stare at what looked to be just a pile of snow. The petite female sits quietly with a tilt of her head, trying to get a better view of what the larger wolf was stalking.
