Malo; He was new, it was spring, much like his coat. Malo looked around, his light blue eyes looked up to the morning sky. He smiled slightly and walked forward, he felt he needed someone to chat with, he did not truly know this area but walking around to enjoy the fresh air was nice. His pace became a trot as he then made circles " Bored." he simply said sighing to himself. Malo made a full stop, he looked around once more " Is anybody there?" Malo asked slightly raising his voice , he sat and waited for a few moments. His tail would flick and ears, L- Avis ((Sorry I'd do a much longer post but for some reason it doesn't want to give me more than 131 words in first post))

AVIS WREN Lips curled into a sour frown as she awoke. The sun was high in the sky, perched atop the clouds as birds did upon branches after midsummer rains. She was alone, that much was certain; the scents around her were fresh and wet with dew, droplets of moisture that would have evaporated long ago had it not been for the shelter of nearby caves. Shadow was cast over her frame, breast rising and falling with each gentle breath that escaped her tarlike maw. Avis narrowed her eyes. Her eyes, silver and piercing, fierce as the summer heat and frigid as old winter wind. Her rest had been undisturbed; Nyx's scent on her pelt was old now, and quickly fading. The rest, the long rest after the long walk was a welcome distraction from the aches and pains that eclipsed her body and numbed her mind. It had been in quiet contemplation that Avis had walked with Nyx the night before, an unusual bout of thoughtfulness that had overtaken her and forced her into solitude. No, the pleasure of Nyx's company was an intense thing, that left her wanting for more in future companions. Despite her shadowed intentions - and at this thought Avis' visage finally lightened - the woman had been surprisingly pleasant to walk with. And all the more it left Avis craving the same introspective mind in her erstwhile acquaintances. How... interesting, that a woman such as Nyx would bring out the philosopher in Avis. But had there not been the same shreds of darkness within them both? Had there not been reluctant acquiescence present in their opinions? Avis sensed that she and Nyx were two different women with differing alignments - but they were more similar than she had previously thought, and she was doubting Caesar's assessment of good, neutral, and evil. Ah... but they came from different worlds, and this was all he had ever known. So it was that she walked, lost in rumination. An hour had passed; by this time she was far from her cave, and presently she found herself with parted jaws, absorbing the new smells that she had brought forth with her newest journey. Tall ears flicked atop her sharp crown; on the edges of the wind carried a lingering voice, soft and growing softer as the echoes dissipated. "Is anybody there?"He has not found me yet, mused the woman, eyes partially shut in contemplation. The wind blew towards her; it was only reasonable that her scent would not have met him yet. It blew the smell of the wolf towards her, and she inhaled it, tasting it, testing it on the tip of her tongue and the back of her throat and found it not unpleasant. Her small stature allowed her to be hidden amongst the ruins - what else could they be called, but ruins? - outcroppings of crafted stone and deliberate placement. Thusly she emerged from them, appearing as a shadow might from behind the form itself. The sun was behind her, still hanging in the eastern sky; in that frozen moment she appeared as if she were a light-burnt god, surrounded in a softly glowing halo. Her pitch fur looked as if she had been touched by the sun, warmth on the edges of the hairs. Sharp muzzle and silver eyes calmly met the wolf's gaze as she took a step further up the stone, gazing down at him, all spring and youth in his green coat. And there she stood, unwavering, unblinking, silently answering his lonely call. "speech" OOC: not at all!

Malo The male looked casually around the area, his head lifted up to smell the pleasant air. Malo's light blue eyes shifted from the right to the left, he pulled his head down and smiled softly to himself, as if he had forgotten already , he had called out to see if anyone was there. The male shrugged, he then looked up again and saw a small, slender wolf- female was the only thing that crossed his mind. Malo smiled a little, softly at the female " Hello there." he said, swaying his tail as he sat on his haunches. Malo's smile slowly faded as he watched the female, examining her figure. This would be the first time he would ever see a female like that, it was odd to him, but then it was intriguing to the eye, or at least his eye. Malo closed his eyes for a mere moment, then locked his gaze at the female. Just then he got up, twitching or flicking his ears. He took a couple of deep breaths, inhaling the scent of the female (or at least he tried) as his tail would flick upwards. In his mind he would wonder if this female lived here, is she new to the forest? Malo didn't know, but then of course he wouldn't know. Light reflected off his eyes as he tilted his head slightly to the left, a small but unnoticeable smile was on his face. Still, not once he took his eyes off her, she was so interesting to him, he could not keep his eyes off of her. The only thing he hopped for was that he wasn't being disrespectful, he would apologize if he was. Malo heard a small rustling sound, his right ear perked, but his head nor eye moved. Very Intriguing.

my interpretation of this scene HAHA WINTERFELL "Hello there." Said the male, all spring and youth in his coat. A distant memory prodded at her mind; Avis recalled flashes of a different kind of spring, a different kind of flame-broiled yellow. Her reservations, while still present, faded somewhat. Sit down, she thought to herself, calmly levelling her stare at the young male. He was young yet, entering into his prime. Perhaps not as old as Caesar had been - and at this she allowed herself a slight smile - and certainly not as old as herself. Ah, but mortal age was no truth to her; for all she knew he had died and been raised to life, as she was. Who was to say? Avis blinked, slowly. She was in no hurry to leave her position. From her vantage point she could see the wolves below, the treeline, the end of the Ruins... There were benefits to having the high ground, after all. But the wolf who sat expectantly on the ground was the first company she had found since Nyx. Would he live up to the bar the dark female had set? The smile lingered on his face but slowly crept away, and, well, Avis could not begrudge him the sentiment. She, like he, had often found the smiles that pulled her lips taut, were temporary and rarely genuine. So she did not smile when she looked down at him, keeping her gaze carefully neutral. And there was no warmth in her silvery stare. Interesting... Yes, it was peculiar to note how never once did his eyes leave her frame, roaming over her, meeting her gaze, and then flicking back to appraise her figure. Again, and again, and again. Was she truly a sight to see? The ruins, though crumbling and broken, were much grander things than she was - although, Avis supposed, she ought to be flattered. And then his ear flicked, barely, but the movement caught her attention. What did he hear? She couldn't help but wonder, for there was no sound atop her perch, high enough as it was that the sounds from the ground, if soft enough, would not reach her ears. Perhaps she would find reason to come down, after all. The girl slinked downwards, gracefully pulling herself from her perch and making her way towards the earth. It was sodden, from the melted snow, soft beneath her paws. She moved as if she were water, fluidly from point to point. She seemed to flow downwards until she was on level ground with the male, staring benignly up at him with glimmering interest in her frosty gaze. Still, she did not speak, allowing her eyes to wander up his frame, unabashed. He was larger than average - were all the wolves in this place that big, save Nyx? His coat was flecked with hints of lime green and glaring yellow, and stripes coiled around his forelegs. The girl tilted her head, and continued to meet his unbroken stare, her own eyes unblinking. Go ahead, they seemed to say, lead the way.speech OOC:

Malo The female had said nothing in response, but he didn't seem to mind. After a few moments she had hopped down, she moved as if she were water, Malo would smile softly from this, he had never seen a wolf move the way she does. She then had stared at him, benignly up at him, examining his frame, much like Malo when he examined her frame. He chuckled quietly, he could see the interest in her eyes and yet she did not speak, she then tilted her head still staring at him, unblinkiing " My name is Malo." he said as he then ever so slightly tilted his head to the left. The male then slowly turned his back to face the opposite direction, but he did not move his head to where his gaze would be taken off from the female. He nodded slowly or even barely, giving an insinuation that he wanted to walk. His neck turned, his tail swaying, his eyes almost glittered in delight. Malo would feel the soft wind against his nose, a nice breeze. Malo enjoyed it, he then started trotting slowly just enough to where the female could easily follow him. But then he broke the stare, he looked around to gaze apon the ruins, but it was not truly intriguing to him, or perhaps it was, but he wouldn't notice the ruins because of the female being intriguing to him. Yes, she might of been just a wolf but in his mind, she would seem much more than just a wolf. OOC: the art is lovely! You don't mind me saving it do you? Haha ^_^

AVIS WREN "My name is Malo," said the behemoth. The sun, above them both, cast his lengthened shadow upon the ground. It shaded the smaller female some, draping half her face in the darkness. Still the girl did not speak; she merely nodded her head in minute fashion, barely moving. This was it, then. The crux of their meeting - one standing in shadow, the other illuminated by the sun. Avis paused, lids half-fallen, peering out at him from beneath her black lashes. He turned, then, body contorting such that his gaze never once broke with hers while his massive frame turned away from the sun. Then he began his stride, long-legged frame carrying him much faster than he would have anticipated. Ah, but she was nothing if not fast; the girl found herself easily matching his pace, though her feet moved faster than she liked. Still she maintained her peace, no words escaping her pitch lips. This was acceptable. The companionable silence hanging over them as did a cloud. She made no move to disrupt it, preferring instead to relax slightly in the warmth of a body by her side and the sun in the sky. Spring, for all it was cold, brought with it the newborn sun; the promise of life creeping from beneath snow-laden, cracked earth. And Malo reflected that, the brightness of his coat a reminder of the season's change. For once, Avis allowed herself to relax and simply enjoy the moment. Wordless, they moved as one. He lead; she followed. Then he turned his eyes to the towering ruins once more; she nodded in silent understanding, tilting her head towards them. Her ears swivelled atop her crown, pricked. She turned, directing her stride towards the great constructs. Avis could feel the frost under her toes, the burn of freezing stone amidst hardened soil. And she moved, lithely ascending the rocks as she might a hill - with all the grace she'd learnt in her Forest, when... ...It did not bear thinking about. Follow, her motions seemed to say. And to herself, she thought, let us simply walk in quiet."speech" OOC: i don't mind at all haha

Malo;
He walked, she followed, not saying a word but simply nodded. Malo thought she might've been a mute or maybe just playing the silent game with him, Malo would remember when he was a pup that he and his sister (before he lost her) would play the silent game... Or more the sister than the brother and she would only do it out of anger. Was the new female somehow mad at him? Perhaps she could talk but she just doesn't like talking unless she knows a person much like Malo, or maybe she just had a rough day and peace and quiet would do the trick. Whatever the case was Malo would respect it, as they continued to walk Malo noticed the female turning her stride somewhere else. Malo nodded and walked to the directing she was going for. They continued to walk, more sights to be seen. Sometimes he liked it when it was quiet, he would be so used to talking that he would forget to just shut up for once and enjoy the moment. He stopped at his tracks for a minute, looking around, his ears flicked again now hearing a strange noise like it was a rabbit nearby. He sniffed the air and it did smell like prey, Malo looked at the female should I go for it? his eyes seem to say as he tilted his head. He could care less if he would go to the prey or not but then he would much rather preferred to walk instead.
