Jake;
A large tawny male exhaled deeply as he traveled alone, searching for a border that he'd hoped would be good to step on. Jake walked almost slowly against the snow beneath him, having his head lowered a bit as he'd sniff the earth. Memories would recollect and he thought of the many reasons as to why he wished to join a pack.
He couldn't believe it himself that he had grown so quickly, quite literally, and already he wished to start his adulthood life within the ranks of a pack. It seemed so recent that he had one day encountered a stranger wolf, who apparently recognized him. Remembering that the wolf had said that Jake once was born into a pack in which he was the alpha's son, of course he would remember that his parents had died and though he should have taken over, he instead was adopted by a loner she-wolf. Besides this, his supposed pack was no where within the valley, and Jake didn't care to fulfill his supposed duty as alpha to a pack he didn't know about for instead he would rather be close to the ones that took care of him for so long.
Not only was he born to alphas, but he was born to evil ones; is what the stranger had told him. Although Jake was curious about his real family, the stranger died during the encounter, it left him with much more questions, but Jake wanted nothing to do with evil beings for he was good through and through.
After walking and sniffing the ground for several minutes, he finally reached the border, having the scent of it run through his nose. The young male perks his head up, the starry night and bright moon causing his cinnamon colored eyes to gleam a bit. He stands tall with confidence as he lifts his head high, he had lived a short life of a lone wolf and he wanted something different, besides, his mother had left the valley to venture new things, leaving only him and his siblings. Though he did want to go with her and so did his siblings, they were still young and needed to spend some time in the valley before venturing off outside of it, for when they finally do know the valley well enough they'd one day be with their mother.
Getting out of his thoughts, Jake takes a sharp inhale, exhaling shortly after, before inhaling once more and letting out a strong and powerful howl. He howled for a few moments, long enough until his howl drifted and surely someone would hear it. The large male stops howling, shifting his head side to side briefly as he patiently awaited someone to answer his call.
