It was cold, too cold, but of course it was, it was winter. A large furry, fur as pure as snow had been walking for what seemed like thousands of miles. His pure white eyes heavy from the lack of energy as well as the window blasting in his face. He started to wonder if he was wandering mindlessly, but he had a reason why he would be out instead of in a nice den. The wind blew harder and colder on him, it was a time like this he was so grateful his fur was extremely thick to keep him warm, but even so his pelt was not enough to truly block out the cold. Albus shivers as he continued to walk slowly, trying to pull himself together and to keep going north. The alpha was far from his pack, but at this time he didn't mind too much, much of his pack members were not to be found either way. Albus shivered more as his body would start to become numb from the coldness, he prayed that the storm would die off soon so that he may continue in his journey. Before he could finish however Albus stops in his tracks and fell to his side from energy loss. His body camoflouging with the snow beneath him for he was as white as snow. There he lays, restless and out cold.
An hour or so had passed and the storm died off, no longer was the wind blowing so strong like before, the white wolf still breathed but still had his eyes shut.
From a distance another wolf, who one would confuse for a shadow, had came from the north side and walked towards the red wooded trees. His steps light so that he couldn't make too much sound, as he always treaded his steps carefully. Li walked amongst the trees, his pitch black eyes scanning the area for any movement, he did not see anything and would continue walking, that is until his paw had touched some flesh beneath him. He did not flinch but instead quickly retracted his paw back to see what he had stepped on. For a quick moment he thought he possibly stepped on a snow-rabbit but once his eyes adjusted he could see the form of a wolf, his eyes widen slightly as he quickly recognized the wolf, leaning his head down to nudge on him slightly to see if he would make a response or reaction. "Albus." The dark wolf said, in a tone which sounded demanding. The white wolf slowly opened his eyes weakly and spotted the large wolf in front of him, smiling weakly "Hello, bro-"
"What are you doing here?" Li asked, interrupting his twin from finishing his sentance as he was weary that other wolves may be lurking about. Albus stayed quiet, too weak to responde or to get up. Li noticed this and shook his head "Stay here." said Li as he would then quickly turn away and dash off to somewhere Albus didn't see.
A few minutes had passed and Li would return with a dead hare in his maw, dropping it in front of his brother to eat. Albus looked at the carcass, it looked almost fresh, and without question he would quickly eat as much as he could, feeling the energy return to him. After he finished eating he sits up and eyes his brother "Food is scarce in the winter... Why would you give me some food in which you possibly may not find later on?" Albus asked, Li shook his head and replied in a low tone "Do you really think I'd just sit here and watch my... you die?" Li said, his voice having a tone of concern. Albus nodded, smiling weakly once again as to lighten the mood "I was looking for you."
"I know." Li said, looking up at his light colored twin "Why? Li asks, but quickly knew the answer already. Albus risked his life to see his brother to spend time with him, it was obvious enough, and Albus hoped that just because they were in the literal opposite side's of the valley and that they were part of packs that were enemies didn't mean that their bond had to be broken. They continued to talk, their voices very low they were practically whispering. They then started to walk together, in hopes that no one would recognize them, especially since one was the alpha of a good pack and the other the beta of the most deadliest pack. Minutes in their walk they could sniff and hear a wolf in a distance, they both stopped talking, trying to see if it was all in their minds or if it was reality.
