conspiracyKaiko; It had been about an hour of running, Kai looked to his left and saw the female running besides him. He was honestly surprised that he even agreed to let another wolf travel to Kai Lake but it would be ok for this one time. Kaiko then saw the lake not too far ahead, his lips lifted to create a grin and then he ran faster than before to jump into the water. He create a big splash and he swam and swam around. Kai then swam under water and he wouldn’t be seen until fifteen seconds later. The male continued to swim around before placing his paw on solid ground. By the time his body was fully out of the water he looked at Felan “ Welcome to my place, enjoy the view while you still can.” he chuckled before sitting on his haunches, letting the water drip down his pelt for he not once ever shook the water off. Kai was soaking wet, his pelt shiny and his eyes sparked. He thought the female would again be thirsty, since they had run for about an hour. Kai looked down and dig a small hole on the ground not far from the lake. Just as he finished making the hole he placed a paw in he lake and moved it around trying to land some water into the little hole. After a few strokes the water was in the hole and Kaiko went back and looked down at the small puddle of water. His water marking glowed as he then tried to levitate he water just as he did before. Sadly, Kai has to train a lot in order to gain the next level, the male groaned just even thinking about it. He had enough time, hopefully. Kai blinked slowly, still practicing his power, slowly levitating the puddle...

Felan;
Felan ears twitched in excitement when looking at the lake before them; she could see why a wolf would want to live here. Kai hadn't wasted any time; upon seeing the lake he'd dove right in. A dip in the water sounded nice but instead she took a few gulp fulls of water then laid down in front of the lake. She dipped a paw in the water while watching the other wolf emerge from its depths. “Welcome to my place, enjoy the view while you still can.” He said.
In response the small wolf yawned before stretching her body out on the grass, her paw coming up to scratch her nose as it began to itch. Then she focused her attention back on the male as he sat trying to levitate water again. She wondered what it must feel like harness a power; Felan turned to lay on her stomach. “If you don't mind me asking but do you feel any different,” Felan shook her head; deciding that wording it that way could be confusing. “I mean did you feel different after gaining your powers?”
The young wolf hadn't had a conversation with a wolf who possessed a power given by the goddesses. She'd spoken to Sheba but she knew it wasn't the same; the goddess was born with her powers she hadn't been gifted them. For a moment Felan wondered if the wolf would question her curiosity. Though she sensed that the other wolf probably couldn't care less why she was asking. That is if he even responded to her.

Kaiko;
Kai continued stare at the puddle of water although the young female asked a question, he took a few moments before answering "Hmm No, maybe a bit stronger? then yes." He looked at Felan "Have I changed my personality though? I also wanna say no, but when the Mistress of darkness told me that I had to baby sit another wolf, a grown male, I have to just make sure he doesn't burn down the forest..." he said groaning again.
"His name is...is," Kai's eyes shifted everywhere wondering how he was going to say the male's name "Well, it sounds like RICK, there is a B right before it." that was the only way he was going to say it, his eyes twitched, thinking that he was going to kill that male at some point. Kaiko shook his head only to then shake his entire body. He remembered what he had said earlier "I can provide water if you'd like." technically, he did; by leading her to Kai Lake she got to drink some water.
"Why do you ask? about me feeling different."
His eyes sparked once more, for some reason actually caring about the question, maybe he cared one percent out of one hundred percent, but the fact that he still cared was just shocking.

Felan; The small wolf listened intently as the other one spoke; of feeling empowered but personality wise he was the same when receiving his powers. He spoke of Gesit and how when when she gifted him, she'd told him to keep watch over another wolf with flame. It'd make sense that even the goddess of evil wouldn't want the valley to be burned down. Brick was the wolves name; she'd chuckled when Kai didn't even want to pronounce it. They'd probably crossed paths before or he just didn't like the other wolf.
"Why do you ask? about me feeling different."
Felan stared down at her paws; thinking about telling Kai that she'd went up to the mountain herself. She knew that flame was a hard power to obtain; the wolf liked a challenge. Though when the summer heat came around again would she still seek out the goddess for the power? Of course; when Felan made up her mind it was a hard thing to he deterred. “I went up the mountain to ask for flame, but I'd been turned away. Next year I'll make the trip again.”
“That is if I get another year,” She shook her head, lips curling up into a small grin. No wolf was promised another day. Felan was aware of that that everyday wasn't a promised one. That was why she didn't try to dwell too much on the past; because that's what it is. Memories were made to be remembered of course but you couldn't actually relieve them. There was the Ethereal Realm but she hadn't any plans on visiting it. “You ever meet him?” She laughed again. “rick that is?”

Kaiko;
Kai tilted his head when Felan said she had visited the goddess before but was turned down, then she said that she would visit next year and ask for flame. “Let me tell you something, the goddesses don’t usually gift young wolves for powers. Unless they prove themselves worthy, but maybe that depends on the way they’re feeling. Sometimes they want to gift wolves and other times they don’t, I guess you’d have to be at the right place at the right time.” He said repeating her words in his mind “I went up to the mountain to ask for flame, but I’d been turned away...” Kaiko shook his head “I’ve never met Rick, and honestly I don’t want to meet him. He is a new wolf around the valley much like you, I guess he was at the right place at the right time.” he growled quietly to himself almost mad that the goddess gave Brick a power and not Felan.
He cleared his throat and looked at Felan, he was about to do something he has never done before... “I can train you... to be worthy of a power. Because if you don’t you’d more than likely be turned down again.” Kai said standing up straight. If any wolf truly knew him they would be extremely shocked, maybe they might have fainted. Train another wolf? Since when did Kai want to train another wolf? Well he has been thinking about starting a pack... but that was for evil and Kaiko never really cared for wolves who didn’t have powers. They were beneath him, Kai would’ve usually said “Train yourself” or “Clearly there is a reason why the goddess didn’t give you a power.. because it would just be a waste of time.” But he didn’t say it, he willingly said he would train her.
Though it would be wise for Felan to say “yes” because if there was one thing Kai didn’t like it was “no” for an answer.
Maybe if she did say no Kai would suddenly be his old self again. Whatever it was, it was Felan’s decision.

Felan;
“I can train you... to be worthy of a power. Because if you don’t you’d more than likely be turned down again.” Felan looked up at the wolf; her mind reeling before she turned away from him in thought. She wasn't naive; Gesit only gave powers to evil wolves and Felan wasn't evil but she wasn't good either. Kai was willing to train her. The young wolf knew that she was indeed in need of some training; it'd be a good opportunity for her. Though what would he have her do? Obviously she had a choice in the matter, and even evil wolves had their own morals.
Though it seemed that the other wolf was even surprised that he'd offered to train her. Kai didn't appear to like other wolves; but he was being decent to her. Maybe he did have her best interest in mind; but she'd never know if she didn't respond. “I could use some training,” she mumbled to herself before making the decision.
Sighing, she turned back to face him him. “What would you have me do?” Her ears twitched; tail stilling beside her. Felan’s expression hardened into a serious one; her usual playful banter dying down. She needed to know just exactly what she'd be getting into. Rushing into things too quickly could lead to trouble down the road, and though trouble usually found the she-wolf. She didn't actually go out searching for it. “I don't usually kill without a cause, it seems pointless to me. Would you have me do things like those?”

Kaiko;
His mind went blank when Felan said that she doesn't kill without a cause. What? why wouldn't you kill without a cause? That was a way to show how powerful you are, to teach wolves not to mess with you. Kai slightly rolled his eyes before answering "As much as I hate to say it, no. I can teach you how to be friends with wolves or even enemies. I'll teach you how to defend yourself to where the goddesses can think they aren't wasting their time and therefore; want to give you a power." He said glancing at Felan.
He had a small feeling that Felan could be friends with anyone but there are times to where you just couldn't be sure. "Maybe I can train you with something else, after all, I have been here longer than you." Kai said, lips curling up into a small grin.
His tail shifted to the left and he flattened his ears, Kai shifted his hulking body and started to slowly walk around. He stopped near the lake's edge and dip his entire head in for ten seconds. Kai then pulled his head out and chuckled "Maybe I can even teach you how to do that, and for longer too."

"As much as I hate to say it, no. I can teach you how to be friends with wolves or even enemies. I'll teach you how to defend yourself to where the goddesses can think they aren't wasting their time and therefore; want to give you a power." The corners of Felan’s lips twitch; the ghost of a smirk making its way on her face before disappearing. Kai was an interesting character she thought while staring back at him to gauge his reaction. The young wolf had already found out that if he was lying she wouldn't be able to tell; but somehow she knew he was being honest. As honest as he could get; but as time went on she'd be able to figure the wolf out. "Maybe I can train you with something else, after all, I have been here longer than you." He said, earnestly.
Felan watched as he trotted over to the edge of the water; seconds later he submerged his entire head before coming back up ten seconds later. The younger wolf didn't know how long she could hold her breath for; she could run for long periods of time but she wasn't a strong swimmer. She'd almost drowned once; it didn't stop her from entering the water. Though she knew not to go in to deep knowing that she wouldn't make it back out. "Maybe I can even teach you how to do that, and for longer too."
Upon seeing the wolves disheveled fur; Felan’s serious exterior cracked her lips parted as laughed. “When do we start?” She asked, before turning over on her back to stare at the wolf upside down. She could tell that even with the wolves tough persona; that she was easily getting comfortable around the male. And maybe she would stick around for a while longer than she originally planned; though there was still a ton of exploring the wolf wanted to do. Felan needed to know her way around. “And what shall our first lesson be? Oh, wise one.” she snickered, while flipping back on her stomach.
“Though in all seriousness. I will take my training seriously; I'm an excellent pupil.”

Kaiko;
“Hmm, are you a strong swimmer?” he asked giving an insinuation that that would be their first lesson. Kaiko has never taught a wolf how to do anything so it would be a bit hard for him to teach a wolf anything. “Ahh before I forget, remind me to tell you to practice your power on me once you have it. If you seek flame it would be interesting to use flame on me, because I have river.” Kai nodded and chuckled. He sat on his haunches and lifted his paw, pointing at the lake so that the female can dive in. She was already in Kai Lake, so why not just teach her to swim? After all Kai is somehow starting to like her...
He shifted his head to stare at the water, seeing his reflection, his eyes started to show blue veins but only a little. Kai grinned before shaking his head and looked at Felan. “Come on, kid, jump in.” he said almost sounding like he was demanding it. Kaiko’s tail slowly dragged itself to the water, like it was sneaking past him, his tail tip did touch the water and Kai would continue to grin. He flicked his ears, then flattened it, he was going to teach her how to swim-if she didn’t know how to.
Clouds passed by and blocked the sun, Kai perked his right ear but still continued to look at the small female.

Felan;
“Come on, kid, jump in.” Kai said; gesturing towards the lake. Felan wondered briefly how long it would take for the bottom to not be under her paws; but without any complaints she stood, and went to the water's edge. The young wolf carefully walked into the water; threading slowly till the water covered most of her legs. Though due to her height it hadn't taken long for her to be submerged into the lake; but she could still feel the bottom. As long as she could stand she wasn't in any danger; but she'd guessed that that wouldn't be the lesson. “I'm a horrible swimmer by the way, almost drowned one. Don't surprised if you have to come in after me.”
She looked back at Kai, her body still slowly moving through the water. ”How far do I have to go in?” Felan asked, before focusing her attention back towards the water. Lakes were tricky things. One moment you were paws deep then the next water was up to your muzzle; while you struggled to find a place to stand. Felan came to a stop, hesitating instinctively as she neared a deep drop in the lake; another inch in and she would no longer be on stable ground. She hadn't the slightest idea of how deep the waters could be; Felan guessed that only Kai would know the answer to that. The young wolf breath in deep before letting her body become weightless; when she went in deeper. Though she stayed close to the spot she'd come from; just in case she needed to stand up. She'd hopped Kai wouldn't make her go to far out; but she wasn't afraid if he did. Felan hoped her bravery wouldn't kill her.

Kaiko;
Felan said she was a horrible swimmer and that she almost drowned once, Kai laughed quietly but almost sounding like a scoff, she told him not to be surprised if he had to go in for her if she did drown, Kaiko shook his head in a no manner, he didn't want to, yes he was somehow warming up to Felan but he is slow when it comes to getting used to new things like "feelings". Did he have a feeling? A sense of it? Maybe both Kai and Felan would soon know, but that shall be in the future. Kaiko continued to look at her, watching her take her time to finally fully be in the water "Fear is what causes you to drown, if you don't fear you will have the courage to swim. It easy, you stick your claws out and kick. Claw, kick, claw, kick, don't let fear win you over daugh-" Kai quickly interrupted himself before finishing his sentence. His eyes widen again, shock of what he was about to say, he shook his head roughly and he submerged his entire head in the water for at least thirty seconds, possibly trying to kill himself. But something stopped him- like always, Kai still needed to teach Felan "Don't let fear win you over, kid!" he said almost roughly, barking as he glanced at his own reflection. Don't let fear win you over? That is the EXACT opposite of what he would say...
He growled quietly, hoping the female wouldn't see him or hear him. What was he about to say? Something... He thought he would never say? What was it? There was a small glimpse of him having kids but only for evil, Kai would never say "daughter" or "son" just "kid" he always said that and he will continue to say it. Nothing shall change that, no one shall change that.

Felan;
“Claw..kick...claw...kick..fear,” Kai’s bellowing voice had been muffled by the sound of water; but Felan could make out some of the words. Though as loud and demanding as he was the wolf found some comfort in him watching over her. Somehow she knew that if something did happen he would intervene before her ultimate demise; that thought alone made her paddle out further from her safe spot. Deeper into the unknown waters of Kai lake. How deep could a lake get? Guess she would have to find out on her own. “Don't let fear win you over, kid!"
Pushing harder, Felan ignored her previous exhaustion from traveling through the barrens; and the run to Kai Lake. She was young, and possessed a large amount of stamina; but she would also push herself too hard. It was a good trait to have; especially if you needed to get out of a dangerous situation. Though she could feel herself growing tired but learning to swim was something she needed to succeed in. Instinctively her head was warning her that if she didn't take a short break; she could drown. The small wolf was never one to turn down a challenge; if it weren't challenging then it wasn't worth her time. Like her pursuit for flame. Which was why the female was determined to finish her first lesson.
“How am I doing? Guess I'm still alive so I must be doing go-” She was cut off as her body sunk under water; maybe it was the loss of focus that caused it. Though Felan hadn't panicked; Kai’s voice making itself known as it repeated in her head. Don't let fear win you over.
With that in mind Felan began kicking against the water; till she broke through it's surface gasping for air. She steadied her breathing; body turning in the water to find Kai. Somehow she'd turned herself around when she went under; and couldn't see him anymore. Though he was probably staring over at her with an unimpressed expression.

Kaiko;
The male watched her swim, getting away from the safe spot. Kai grinned slightly, he never liked wolves who 'played it safe' it was so boring and what was the point of life if you don't have at least some danger in it? Kaiko merely growled at the thought, he shook his head and blinked a few times before focusing on Felan. She was doing it, she was swimming. Maybe Kai wouldn't be a bad teacher, so far, he was doing ok. Maybe she will get her flame, and they both will practice their power on each other. If somehow she does get her power than he would probably be happy, for himself however....and maybe, just maybe for Felan too...
"How am I doing? Guess I'm still alive so I must be doing go-" He heard her say before possibly drowning. Kai leaned his head over the water searching for the small she-wolf, he didn't jump in to save her, not yet. He would wait just a little, it's not like she'd drown quickly anyway... Kai waited a few moments before looking around, maybe she went to surface somewhere else not far? He tilted his snout up and sniffed the air, trying to get her scent. He finally did and he walked a few feet, walking besides the shore and looked at her. he chuckled slightly "Not bad for your first time swimming, kid." Kai hid a grin as he glanced at the female.

Felan;
“Not bad for your first time swimming, kid.” Felan snorted, as she climbed out of the water before shaking her pelt out roughly beside Kai. If he minded being sprayed she knew he probably wouldn't show it. The wolf hadn't even cracked a smile since she met her but she was determined to figure out his mannerisms. Though she did feel as if the other was impressed with her attempt, she hadn't drowned; which was impressive on it's own.
Dropping down next to him Felan steadied her breathing before glancing up at the other wolf with a half smirk tugging at her muzzle. “I guess I didn't die,” she shook more excess water from her head; feeling the adrenaline still moving rapidly through her body. The female hadn't wanted to sit still but she guessed it was because her head was telling her to keep moving. Kai would probably want to see how her combat skills were or maybe how she hunted. Though she didn't know what the other wolf had in mind. “What's next?”
Any other wolf wouldn't have wanted to jump back into things so quickly but Felan had endured worse. Plus what didn't kill you only made you stronger; and she definitely wouldn't quiver like a rabbit being hunted.

Kaiko;
He merely scoffed when Felan said "I guess I didn't die." Kai could only think "of course you didn't die, you were just swimming for Pete sake. And you would know when your dead, any wolf would be lucky." He looked away having a slight bored look to his face before shifting his head to Felan. Though she had sprayed water on him Kaiko didn't mind, he didn't even mind being soaking wet every time he got out of the water, especially Kai Lake''s water. Then after a moment or so the young female asked what was next. Kai looked up slightly to the sky, thinking of what they should do next. He flattened his right ear and raised his left brow, then gave his dirty white pelt a nice shake before answering "Let's see how good you are with combat," he nodded before continuing "I'm sure a goddess wouldn't want to give a power to a weak wolf, a wolf must learn how to fight." He said standing up being prepared for battle. Although he had some doubt the small female knew how to fight, well at least he always liked letting the other wolf do the first hit. He shook his dirty looking pelt again before slightly glaring at her, as much as he didn't want to go easy on her he just had to. Kai only sighed at the thought; fighting someone without killing... Well, he had to change his personality just a tad.
