Kaiko;
He scoffed quietly to himself when she told him that he shouldn't end his life and that he obviously couldn't control the water if he was dead "I would very much rather be dead than to control the waters... he thought to himself.
Kai was a little surprised, Felan said she would scar him and she didn't even argue by saying anything against it. Kaiko shook his head a little as he tried to ignore it and he nodded in approval. "Excellent, I have decided that the scar shall be..." He thought for a moment as he wondered where in the world did he want his scar to be. He shifted his eyes down a little as he continued to think. He then shot a glance at Felan as he finally made up his mind "On my chest... Use your three claws and make an X marking." he said to her as he popped his chest out, he showed no fear in his eyes as usual. He lifted his head up ever so slightly as he looked down at the small female. He thought, this shouldn't hurt, it is a small female nonetheless but if she can show strength then I will respect her... Even just a little.
He could feel it, the sense of claiming a territory and he was so close! If he was only different, he would show happiness and excitement. But because he was born this way, he dares not show any true happiness. Perhaps, just perhaps he can show... At least a smile of happiness once he is extremely close to death.
But no, so many times he had tried to off himself and yet he has failed "I shall be coming to you soon, Mistress." Oh death, why must I live in a world that doesn't understand me? Oh death, why must you forsake me? Oh death, mistress, why must I not be with you now?
So many thoughts ran through his head, now and before. He only wanted death, nothing less, nothing more. But many times Kaiko would think death has a plan for him and before he could ever meet death he needed to do things in his life. But he was so impatient, he wanted death now.
Felan had mentioned that if he did ever off himself that she would find him in the afterlife and basically torture him for an eternity. He stared blankly at her for a minute, he shrugged it off after. As long as death came to him he would never be bothered, or so he thinks.
He looked at her for a second before saying "Got it." sounding like he was serious but in reality he didn't care.
"Alright, ready?" he cocked a brow up as he still poped his chest out.

Felan;
She didn't understand the logical reasoning behind getting a scar; but Felan was aware that some wolves in packs used scaring as a marking of sorts. Though she wouldn't question it; seeing as it was his belief and it felt disrespectful to do so. Of course that didn't mean she'd have to like it, still it wouldn't be voiced out loud. Kai still had his chest sticking out for her to mark the X he'd decided on. If the male wanted the mark she would willingly give it to him without any offered judgement.
“Alright, ready?” He asked.
Her expression would reveal that she was ready; but on the inside she could feel her hesitance. A sigh fell from her as she nodded, a scar wouldn't kill him that much she knew. Besides her claws were sharp enough to cut clean through his flesh without having to rip through the skin. The small female would be sure to make it quick; it would be impossible to be painless. Though something told her that Kai wouldn't mind a little pain; not that she wanted to be the one to cause him pain. She was undoubtedly forming an attachment to the male; and she hadn't grew any since the deaths of her family.
“I'm ready,” The fiery pelted female, stood her claws flexing as she stretched. It'd been a while since she used them on anyone; but the wolves in the valley had seemed less violent than the ones she'd grown accustomed to. Which was a good thing; seeing that she prefers not to raise her claws unless it was needed. It seemed odd to strike out against him without any case; though she'd easily suck it up. “I'll try to make this as painless as possible."
"It'll be as quick as I can make it, alright?”Without showing any hesitance, she'd raised her paw up eyeing where she'd make the permanent mark. Felan focused on the spot before placing her claws against his chest; her gaze fell on his for a mere moment. Leaving room for any change of mind; then without it she pressed her sharp claw through the frail skin as her focus went back on the task. The last thing she'd want to do was screw this up; especially since it meant something to him.

Kaiko;
For a quick, nano second he gazed at Felan's eyes as she tried to leave room for any change of mind. Kaiko looked like he just gave a small glare, wanting her to just go on with it, she said she wanted to make it quick and as painless as possible, Kaiko snorted, he wanted the pain and it was a fact that he didn't mind it at all.
Then, she had finally scarred him, his eyes squinted a little by the pain but he never complained. He then slowly looks down to glance at his chest, he could see a light trail of blood, but nothing big.
Kaiko closed his eyes slowly, he wondered, no, KNEW that a non-evil wolf had scarred him... Why did he let her scar him if that was the case? He knew evil when he saw it... But maybe he just wanted to drill it in his head that somehow, someday, he could make Felan an evil wolf.
He growled so quietly to himself, he knew deep down that Felan wasn't an evil wolf... Yet he dares train her to get a power, yet he dares to hunt food for her, yet he dares to think of her as someone to care about. What was wrong with him? Did he eat something to make him feel like this? To make him feel like he had to take care of this, small female?
Something was wrong with him... He didn't know what. He did decide on that he would act just a little differently than now... But never, never has he thought he would take care of somone else... And a small female that is.
"...I think it's big enough..This will help me claim my pack... Even by a little." he didn't look at Felan, he wasn't even going to say thank you. There was a lot of things going on through his head, Every thing was just confusing to him. He laid down on his side, starring into the air.

Felan noticed his averted gaze, but didn't mention it. There was something going on inside of Kai's mind; she would probably never be able to know exactly what it was. Though she'd guessed that was the way things happened; every wolf deserved to harbor whatever secrets they chose too. She wouldn't pry of course. It wasn't in her nature to be invasive; if Kai chose to share then she would listen avidly. The small female already knew that that would never happen; and so it was dropped.
Tail swaying slowly behind her as she sat down on her behind. A simple question fell from her parted mouth, as Felan stared over at the bigger male. “Why is that you need a scar to claim a pack?” she asked, head tilting out of curiosity.
“I'm ignorant when it comes to pack life.” She told him; though everyone knew the basics like the ranks and such. Felan didn't really know the inner workings of it. Why was it necessary to get a scar before starting a pack? She didn't know if only evil packs did such things or did all of them practice those same traditions. It could have just been Kai's way of starting a new pack; but she wasn't certain. The thought of joining a pack hadn't crossed her mind since her family's deaths. “The only pack I've ever been apart of consisted of my mother, and two brothers when I was younger.”
The female didn't know why she was telling him that; he probably didn't care. Plus, mentioning them would only open up wounds so she decided to avoid it by switching the subject. “Will I be allowed to visit you when you start your pack?”
The question itself had her thinking. Would this be the end of them once it began; surely the others wouldn't want a neutral wolf coming to their land whenever she saw fit. Though Felan wasn't one to be deterred or intimidated; she could fair on her own with a rowdy wolf or two. Then she'd admit that she would miss the wolf.

(I'm so sorry for the late response! I hope you're still interested in finishing this!)
Kaiko;
"Why is that you need a scar to claim a pack?" The small female said. Kaiko gave a small snort to her question "I don't NEED a scar... I just want one, to represent that I'm one with the pack.. or soon to be pack." The large male glanced at Felan "I think it may be something different or unique."
He flicked his tail to his side and heard Felan tell him about her family when she was younger. He barely cocked a brow, wondering why she even mentioned family, he just stayed silent wondering what else she had to say, Kai shook his head before hearing Felan ask him a question "Will I be allowed to visit you when you start your pack?" Kai starred blankly at her, would he allow her to see him? would he care if she ever visited or not? Kaiko only growled to himself "Will I actually let a non evil wolf visit me? She has the potential to be a strong wolf... but I'm not even sure if I will successfully make her evil..." the male thought. Kaiko looked at her with all seriousness, he still had that heartless beast somewhere in him, he had to say no, what kind of evil wolf would he be if he said yes?
Oh but it ached his every bone just thinking of denying Felan, he truly thought deep down inside of him he could one day make this young female into an evil wolf, maybe if he was patient it could happen but the possibility seemed endless.
Kai cleared his throat, he gave too much thought into it, he had to answer now "Fel… I'm not one for.. visits.. but I might make an exception," Kai nodded his head a little "You may visit if I were to start my pack.. but under one condition, you must be sure to handle yourself if I were not around, there will most likely be pack members trying to hunt you down. Maybe just lie to them and just say you are part of the pack, that should be easy enough, correct?" He asked hoping she would say yes, he knew most likely she wouldn't get a scar, and most likely any of the pack members would be aggravated at that but it would be his rules, or so he hoped.

Felan;
The small female nodded, his explanation of why he wanted a scar seemingly now more understandable, something permanent that would attach itself to every wolf who'd joined. Any other wolf who saw it would know what they belonged to, and should they take them on they'd have a pack of wolves bearing down on them. Though Felan didn't understand all the inner workings of a pack; she got what he was trying to do. "I understand, it is unique though I've never seen it being done before."
Felan peered up at him, after asking if she'd be able to see him after he formed his pack. She'd grown quite fond of the male, though she never met her actual father. The smaller female was starting to look to the older male; she wouldn't tell him. Seemingly having learned that he's more so closed off, but his emotions were there. Hidden within his cold exterior as he looked to be thinking over letting her visit. The fact that he thought about it had her wagging her tail in satisfaction. Meaning he would want to see her; and that he cared somewhat about her.
An exception for her.
"They'd have to catch me first," As the female was always looking for some harmless fun; like the mischievous little wolf she was. Though she was never one to tuck her tail and run when confrontation came; but neither did she look for it. Felan was quick on her feet, and she'd gotten herself out of a few sticky situations before. "I wouldn't rile them up too much," she grinned it being almost pup like, while her tail swayed behind her at the thought of it. "Though If saying I'm apart of your pack is enough then I'll do that."

Kaiko;
The large male cleared his throat a little "I have to ask.. Would you want a scar? To be actually part of my pack?" he took a step towards Felan, he popped his chest out revealing the scar Felan had made for him "My pack would teach you how to be stronger, more than what you already are... You're.. Intelligent, sly, my pack would teach you how to defend yourself the right way, if a wolf were to have the intention to haunt you down... Haunt you down 'till they know you've been haunted down... What are you to do? Sneak pass them and think you're ok for the moment?" Kaiko looked down, having all hopes she is to actually consider joining his soon to be pack.
Kai turned around facing the lake and sat, starring into the air, starring into nothing but of what's in front of him. The male let out a long sigh, thinking that it may have been time for Kai and Felan to part ways. "Perhaps this is the end of our little... Conversation...Tell me," Kaiko took a small glance at Felan before finishing his sentence "Are you really enjoying this view?" Kaiko said almost calmly for the first time. The male wondered if she didn't just enjoy the view of Kai Lake, but the view of Kai and Felan actually.. Bonding with each other. For once he felt like he could actually bond with someone without killing them, it ached him for even thinking about it but at the moment he didn't care, Kai perhaps wanted to put someone under his wing, he wasn't completely sure yet. Kaiko winced, like his stomach was in pain, then he gulped almost being nervous "Felan?" he said with a spark in his eyes. He said her name, her FULL name, it would be a shock maybe but it was a shock for him for he swore never to say someone's complete name, yet he broke that promise to himself.

Felan;
Join his pack? Felan hadn't been apart of a pack in a long time; even then it'd been a small one. Though was she ready to join another, alongside Kai; and whatever wolf he'd picked up along the way. She didn't know. She knew that Kai wasn't necessarily one of the good wolves; neither was she, but he'd been good to her. Felan wasn't sure if that was enough to push her towards joining a pack; she didn't know if she was ready for that yet. A big decision, one she knew she wouldn't be so quick to make. Not yet, at least. "I honestly don't know if I'm ready to pack yet," the small female enjoyed being able to come and go as she pleased without anything to tie her down, and sometimes she'd get lonely. Being a lone wolf had it's pro's and con's. Though Felan had been in countless rough scraps; a little honing in on her fighting skills would be nice. Still in a fight she was always severely underestimated; and it was an advantage. "I'd still liked to learn, better my abilities. If I do ever get flame, it'd come in handy."
Felan peered over at Kai, when he sat down in front of the lake. The small female joined him there; laying down beside him as she let her gaze wandered over it's waters. She'd enjoyed her time here; would cherish the moments like these that she spent with Kai. He asked if she appreciated the view, "I'm enjoying it, every part of it." She'd thought back on when she was younger, with her mom and brothers. Felan had always had questions about who her father was; but as she grew older those kinds of questions faded. Though maybe this was what it felt like to have one of those bonding moments, but was it too early to feel such a way. The young wolf didn't know. Her gaze shifted, towards the larger male when he said her whole name. Something she hadn't heard from him; it felt oddly pleasing in a way.
It was a start, a beginning to something the two hadn't had before. Felan smiled down at the water, paw dipping into it. Yeah, she was enjoying the view.

Kaiko;
"Not ready yet.." he let repeated in his mind over and over again, was that a "no" technically? Kai didn't necessarily liked no for an answer but what was he to do? Kaiko tilted his head down a little, trying his best not to show any possible aggravation "I'm sure you'll be ready, I'd very much would... Like for you to join," the male tilted his head to the side slightly facing away from her "But then again some prefer being a lone wolf, I never thought I'd be planning on making a pack, EVER, but some things change I guess." Kai looked over to his reflection, looking into his own eyes. Was creating a pack a good decision? A psychotic killer like him, being leader of a pack? What if Kaiko randomly tried to kill one of his pack members out of the blue? What would happen then? So many questions ran through the male's head, he wanted to create a pack to spread evil around, but would and could Kai be stable enough to lead a group of wolves?
Kai frowned a little, not of sadness, but of frustration. The look on his face gave out an aggravated look. He shook his head coming back to reality, bowing his head down as he spoke "I never thought I'd ever walk away from this place... Leaving a wolf behind... But I sense that it's time for this little journey to finally come to an end.." Kai got up, that frustrated look still on his face. The large male turned around slowly walking away "Maybe we'll see each other around, kid." Kaiko said not even looking back towards Felan. He walked towards west not knowing what he was going to do or where he was going to go, but all he knew was that "bonding" he felt with Felan needed to stop "I can't bond with Fel, she isn't even evil... But, with time, I can turn her evil... I just have to," he quietly said to himself and himself only "Because if I don't... I may just have to end her.." Kaiko slightly looked down and stared at the ground as he walked. He didn't like the thought of killing Felan, but that was just it, why wouldn't he like the thought of killing her? He's a killer, a killer with no heart. It wasn't until now that Kai realized that there was going to be some changes, whether he liked it or not, change was bound to happen "Why can't things always stay the same? I stay a horrifying, lone pshychotic killer, and others fear me.. Why does life have changes? Whats the point we're just gonna die in the end." He continued to talk to himself soon as he exited Kai Lake. The large male would see a deer from a distance, a wicked grin spread on his maw "Well, maybe a kill could get my mind off things." he laughed wickedly soon going into the hunt.
-Exit Kaiko-
