Jacksonville, or Jack, wonder aimlessly, dodging anything that resemble life from another creature. The thought of eyes of the bleeding damn still haunts him, whether it's a dream or reality, his neurotic self wishes that were all just a fantasy that he believed before that accident happened. Swinging his ripped, stumpy tail, Jack's beautiful, light hazel eyes circle around the secluded fields, hoping to make alive in one piece before nightfall drowns the already milky colored sky; each step the young russet color wolf takes, his beating heart pounds through his chest as if he was going to have a heart attack!
The beautiful land could be an escape route to safety from the beast that almost killed him when he was only a pup; that acid, lava breath that ooze down upon his skin, the thundering paw steps of lighting shook the ground as it beat him until flesh was pealed off, the crimson bloody eyes stare down within his soul, and those dagger, icy claws and fangs that ripped him apart from his tail, both angrily and painfully! Jack wasn't going to revisit those long, endless nights of wondering if and when that beast was going to finish the job. All he must do now is survive.

Xaefir trotted lightly through the redwoods. He couldn't tell if it was night or day, the foliage was so thick. But he didnt mind. His long green tail beat the air almost frantically as he slunk through the shadows. He wasn't good that was for sure. He had killed his own parents. But he wasn't neutral either. He wasn't a balance kind if wolf. There was no grey area. There was either black or white, good or evil. Xaefir was evil. But not a shameless, mindless murderer like that Fjird he had heard of. There was a rumor going around that the killer was haunting the valley killing innocents and gathering an army. Xaefir was fetermined to find an evil pack that withstood Fjords horrifying impact on the valley.
The green wolf felt his green ruff ruse as he thought about it. Shameful. That was what Fjords actions were. Xaefir only killed his parents because they killed his live. His magnificent, beautiful Faelyn. He felt his silver eyes sting the more he thought about the dark blue shewolf. But all thoughts were quickly crammed to the back if his head as he heard something. The large make barked out. "Who's there?" he stood up tall his broad shoulders squared and his head held high,

Jack's black, socking legs halt of a rumbling voice echoing through was he thought was secluded from anything but himself, oh was he wrong! His russet red and black shot straight upwards when the image of the roaming beast enter into his mind, tearing off limb by limb, collecting any asset of his skinny body with other helpless victims! Light hazel eyes start to scan the redwood city, deciding to either run from the mindless beast, hide from it, or even give up on his quest to survive and end this lunatic journey; it seem likely the last latter was the best option.
However, to even to his surprise, his muzzle open by themselves and words soon fall out of his lips. "P-please m-m-make it qu-ick...I do n-ot want die wi-th pain like last time..." This was new, very new, in fact! Jack haven't spoken to another life such, well, forever, scared that the creature could be anyone!

Xaefir waited for what felt like e remits he bagan walking towards the noise, though it had faded and he was having trouble locating it. The large wolf tried a different sense, scent. The redwoods smelled sharp and fresh, the ground frozen and earthy, the grasses brittle, and dusty. But in the mix of the smell of the plants and the smell of the long forgotten prey was another scent. It was an icy musk scent. A wolf, though something in the mix told him this he-wolf was frightened. Xaefir chuckled at the thought of a shivering, underfed terrified male alone in the forest, he must look rediculots.
Then he heard it. The trembling pitiful voice. He answered with a sarcastic hint to his voice. "I won't kill you unless its fir a very good reason. Though if you keep on acting like a wuss I might just hurt you because its fun to see wolves writhe in pain. Doubt you think so?" Xae asked as he emerged from around a gigantic root to see the wolf. He was as if not more pathetic in person. He chuckled again, a permanent grin on his face because of the scars on each cheek.

After hearing not only the voice of a nearby individual but also his heinous smile across his muzzle! A sudden burst if qualms boil through Jack's entire body, rocking it as if he would spurt lava through his mouth, ears, nose, and even eyes! For the sake of being mercilessly killed by this, er, wolf, Jack slowly bend an awkward smile along side his muzzle too. "H-h-hello, um, -sir! I-I'm sorry, I'll be, um, er, strong for ya..." If wolves could sweat, he would have an ocean of sweat tickling down his face without question needed! "H-how may I he-help you?"

"Sir...I like that. But you may call me Xaefir." Ge sat down seven wolf-lengths away from the cowering fool. He sighed. Did he always strike that much fear into wolves? Was it his size? His scars? His voice? He sighed again, and slumped into a laying position. His dark green zebra striped legs splayed around him, his huge head resting in his front paws. "I don't desire anything from you but for you to sit up and put in a brave face. You'll get nowhere acting like that." especially withFjord lurking around. He thought, adding in to his sentence silently.

"Oh, ok." mumble Jack, sliding down on his small tan belly before choosing a comfortable position on the icy, cold ground. The winter weather blast a few breezes here and there until it finally settled down in the valley. As he felt the sudden breeze, his small brown mohawk dance with the cooling winds, mixing them with tiny bits of frost before he shake them off. "Sooo...You are are Xaefir, right? Nice to meet you!" Jack's face still holding his silly smile at the other wolf. OOC: If you want to know more of Jack: wwm-5.proboards.com/thread/2949/jack?page=1&scrollTo=14872

Koroneis padded through the trees, silent as a shadow. A pack was taking up most of her mindspace, and the russet female was contemplating whether she should actively search for members to join her. She'd only just stepped out into a small clearing and seen two male wolves before she was hit by their scent. Tch, the winter was freezing up her nose and it's sense of smell. She was perfectly fine in snow, she even liked it, but it made for bad smelling.
"Who might you be?" She asked, voice warm, but not overly emotional. Koroneis was not known for showing emotion, and it was a miracle that she was warm now. Maybe it was the winter, which she liked, addling her mind.

Xaefir nodded with approval. "That's better." The green make grinned, his snile even wider, his silver eyes bright in the dying light if the sun. There wre patches of snow here and there. The large canopy made harder for snow to gist the ground. It was very wet and cold here but Xaefir's thick muscle and green coat made it easier to bear. The large male tucked himself into a beater position as a female padded into the grove.
"Hello. I'm Xaefir." He dipped his head in respect. He respected females more for they had to endure more than makes. He grinned even wider, his white teeth matching the shade if the fresh snow. "And this is..." Hiss voice trailed off as he introduced the pitiful wolf next to him.

Quickly straighten up, Jack nervously smile back at the female, giving her a small, but calming wave. "Hey...Um, I'm Jacksonville, but everyone calls me Jack. Yeah, I know, it's a silly name!" His russet red and black pelt soon shine with coldness as the frost air can easily invade his skin from the lack of muscles and pelt forming around his short and skinny body; compare to those wolves, Jack may be the only 'sane' one, if you could call it that!

"Jack... and Xaefir." Koroneis echoed, mulling this over in her head. Though, why would two wolves be out in the lonely redwoods, especially in winter? A puzzling question, but Koroneis merely assumed they had the same liking for winter as she. A single snowflake fell onto her nose tip, and she blinked before dusting it off, the snowflake joining its "brethren" on the ground. A russet paw scraped away at the ground meaninglessly, just enjoying the cold.
She repeated her previous thought, this time out in words. "What would two lone, packless wolves be doing out here? In the cold?" Perhaps they would join her pack.

"Yeah, about that...It's just- No, never mind. Pass." response Jack, quietly then he turn to his new 'friend' surprise that he didn't ask him about his aimless journey. "Well Xaefir, why are you here?" First the first time an actual smile pop on his face for years, definitely towards this grinning wolf! Jack waits patiently for Xaefir's reply to both he and Koronies' question.

Xaefir looked down his grin disappearing and his silver eyes examining the small snowdrift between his paws. His large green shoulders made a huge hill on his back as his head and neck lowered, ears flattening. "I-I...well...there isn't much to tell...I...I was..." He stuttered, not to confident like he normally was. "I was...escaping." He answered truthfully. The large green and silver male looked up quickly to see their reactions and even quicker looked down. But then he stood, he would not be a chicken. He stood revealing his full height and stature. He was huge. At least 2/3 of a dire's mass.

Jack's eyes widen when the sudden words was clear through this towering wolf! Speaking of which, Xaefir, at first, was small in size, about his average size, but now this wolf is like he just came from the ancient pass! Xaefir's size made the young wolf tremble again but not like how they met; the words 'escaping' flow around like ears until he repeat it. "Escaping. Escaping from what?"

"Yes, I'd like to know to - escaping from what? I am Koroneis, and I have a pack in the making. Now I would not say that I am trying to recruit you, but perhaps if you told me, maybe you would be able to fight with your packmates together, against this attacker." Koroneis said with a tilt of her head. Her eyes betrayed no emotion, but her voice was curious, pressing for information. Overhead, the sky was still dropping snowflake after snowflake, though they came slowly. One thing she loved about winter was the peace, the quiet. The cool, crisp air and the bright white snow. A random crazy bloodthirsty wolf would definitely ruin her beautiful season, Koroneis reckoned. Not only would she get a new member if Xafier chose to join, she would receive more information about this assailant.
Perhaps Jack would make the desicion to enter Sentinels as well, and they'd finally have enough wolves to claim a territory. The legacy Sentinels would leave would be astounding, hopefully matching up to the great Frigid Plague. Koroneis had based the Sentnels after Frigid Plague and the Alphess, Perjury's ideals. They did not support mindless killing or fighting, or uncalled for violence. Neither did Sentinels.
"Jack, if you want to, you can join as well. I am not particularly picky. In fact, I only came out here to enjoy the beauty of winter! I never expected to meet potential pack-mates."
