((Hello, and welcome one and all to fight club!
This thread is going to serve as a modded-fight club. Basically, it will be for any wolves in the valley that want to prove themselves, train, or just generally get into fights. There is a thread on the plotting board (Titled 'Fight Club Logistics') where you can enter your wolf/ves (Good, Evil, Neutral, pups, everyone is welcome) into upcoming fights. BEFORE the fight begins it will be decided on the plot board whether or not you are okay with your wolf getting killed in combat.
The rules for fight club are the same as the rules for any one-on-one modded fight:
No power playing. Post only your intended attack or defense, then wait your turn. Let the mods do their jobs. Once per fight, ONE fighter will either make a post in the pinboard requesting a mod, or they will tag a mod at the top of the first action-post (recommended).
Winners of the fights will bring themselves glory and fame, and losers will either die or be stuck to nurse their wounds until they (if they) come back and fight again. Feel free to bring wolves by that aren't fighting yet to experience the danger—the suspense—the Fight Club! *doodoodoo*))
The fighting ring is made up of fallen rocks and boulders of all sizes that were gathered behind the main ruin. The inner rocky edges of the circle are sharp, dangerous, and high—making it all the more difficult to back into the wall or escape once inside.
Roster: Ares VS Daemon Genoci VS. Odin.

TielAcribus stalked into the ring he had made of sharpened boulders and formidable stones. One small entrance was the only escape a wolf could have once inside the ring—and turning their tail and shimmying themselves out would leave them open to all sorts of attacks. Acribus was a fighter, yes, but he was also ingenuitive. The Ruins of Abeytu already provided such a stark contrast from the rest of the forest—what was the harm in a little staged fight between rivals? He knew who he was here to fight today. Deimos—evil, large, and angry. He had Acribus in every visible aspect, but the former was smarter. And which wolf was stronger remained to be seen. Acribus was, of course, much smaller and more wirery, but under his coarse fur was rippling muscle, trained with the memory of a thousand past fights. Yes, today they would cristen the ring in both of their blood. Today was a fighting day. Acribus stalked in and faced the entrance, awaiting his opponent with a rye smile. "Ready when you are." His broken voice was painful to listen to, but his smile could be heard through the rasp.

Deimos padded into the ring after Acribus. A good fight would help Deimos take his mind off of his family struggles. The whole first born pup given to Geist ordeal was stressful, and it was inevitable, so the only thing Deimos could do was relieve his stress through a good work out.
Acribus was a small wolf. This duel would be as easy as hunting a deer mouse. Deimos was a born fighter, and he knew he could take down anyone whenever he wanted to. The tiny shard of self control in the brute was the only thing keeping him from murdering every wolf that ever bothered him. Deimos began circling around Acribus, ready to fight. He bared his teeth and kept his head held high, deciding to put on a show. "Ready when you are." Deimos smirked slightly, then pounced. The midnight black male twisted his body in an attempt to land with his front paws on his opponent's shoulders. His heart raced with excitement. This brought him back to the good ol' days when he fought other wolves for fun. It gave him his fill of thrill in a boring life.

Rykett @shiver ((It has begun! I tagged you here, because I figured a pinboard post would be repetetive. Moving forward, how would you guys like to be tagged when a new fight begins? Once in the beginning so you can keep an eye on it? Or not at all and you'll just check periodically? Or would you like a tag with every set move moves? XD I can update the first post to your preference ^^)) It began. All at once the mountain of a wolf lunged above Acribus. Above—of course he went above. Whenever an opponent saw Acribus' deceptively small stature, they always went above. As Deimos attempted to land his paws on Acribus' shoulders, Acribus reacted as he had a thousand times before. Instead of trying to dodge out of the way (because Deimos is very quick), Acribus lunges toward the impact. At the same time, Acribus attempts to swing his lower legs out underneath him and land on his back below Deimos, with Deimos' paws on his shoulders. If he is successful, he will begin biting and clawing at Deimos' underside and neck.

(ill take this one!)
.:Deimos' lunge lands, but not in the way he envisioned. Acribus has successfully twisted himself under Deimos, which makes the larger wolf slip slightly, losing his grasp on his victim. Acribus proceeds to nip and scratch at his opponents neck, the thick fur there, lessens the effectiveness of the attack, but Deimos now owns a multitude of scrapes and small lacerations:.

Acribus was much stronger than Deimos had expected him to be. The small he wolf could seriously bite, too! Deimos snarled at the pain of teeth sinking into his neck and pulled away. He felt thick wiry fur against his chest as he struggled to escape the grip of Acribus' teeth. Small streams of blood trickled down his neck and into his opponents course fur. More scars to show everyone how fearsome he actually was. Immediately, Deimos tried to use his front legs to push down on Acribus' shoulders to hold him still. The brute twisted his head and went straight for the side of his opponent's neck. Acribus was small, and probably light wait, so perhaps if Deimos gripped his neck hard enough, he would manage to toss him at the sharp rocks bordering the ring.

Acribus relished the taste of Deimos' blood. It had been a while since he tasted an opponent properly. Suddenly though, it felt as if Deimos was trying to get a proper hold of his shoulders. That would only end badly for Acribus. The brute was too big to kick off, but Acribus was still strong and focused most of his strength on rocking his shoulders back and forth, trying to keep Deimos from pinning him. He see's Deimos' intention in his eyes. As Deimos twists and goes for Acribus' neck, the smaller, wilder wolf twists and lets him get a clear shot of the side of his neck and collar (hoping to stop his teeth on bone or something); however, just as Deimos is about to latch on, Acribus turns his neck even farther and snaps his formiddible jaws. If Acribus is succesful, Deimos will land a bite on the side of his lower neck, but at the same time Acribus is aiming his sharp teeth at and above Deimos' left eye. If he is unsuccessful in snapping out the brute's eye (because he didn't have a very good angle), he at least hopes to tear open the flesh above and temporarily blind him with the flow of his own blood.

.:Deimos succeeds partway, he pins Acribus just enough to prevent the male from completing his attack. Deimos lands a bite just below his opponents jaws, the bite is deep but not fatal. Acribus' fangs catch Deimos' eye area, creating deep lacerations just above and below his eye:.

Deimos managed to bite Acribus below his jaw, but was not able to get a very tight grip. He bit down harder, but Acribus was able to escape. His small size made it easier to wriggle out of Deimos' grasp. The pitch black male flailed his paws to keep him still, but with no success. Acribus reached up and nipped his only working eye. Blood trickled down clouding his vision. He felt a familiar stinging sensation. It was the feeling he had felt when he gained the scar on his right eye. The feeling of going blind, but this time it was not just one eye. Deimos could not see whatsoever. He could not see his opponent. Frantically, he bit down in random spots, feeling for Acribus, but mostly ended up nipping at dirt. Deimos pressed his paws down harder attempting to hold him in place. He lunged his head forward, directing his attack for where his eyes should be. Perhaps he'd blind Acribus as well.

Success! Acribus was rewarded by the big wolf's blood flowing into his eye and blocking his vison. Acribus hadn't noticed that he also seemed to be blind in the other eye, as well. This was very good news for the smaller wolf. His neck pulsed in pain and he felt blood start to trickl from under his fur, but it was nothing he couldn't manage. It did make biting on that angle more difficult, however.
Suddenly, as all wolves do when they are truly feeling cornered, Deimos began biting in every direction through his blindness. Acribus, still below him, tried to use this advantage as best he could.
While Deimos bites and strikes out randomly, Acribus watches and dodges the teeth as best he can. He isn't as quickly moving his neck as he would like to be, due to the bite, but he is still able to see when Deimos can't. Deimos lunges forward, obviously aiming fot Acribus' face and eyes. He sees it coming, and instead of letting Deimos land a hit, as he had done more so so far, he lunges forward himself and opens his mouth. He is trying to meet Deimos before he reaces his face, so their open jaws will clash against each other. If he is succesful, Acribus will bite at Deimos' tongue with his vicious teeth. As he attempts to smash his jaw against Deimos', Acribus also heaves his weight to the side as the bigger wolf is distracted, hopefully getting out from under him.

.:Deimos succeeds in grappling Acribus' face, just as his opponent planned. Their jaws lock and Deimos' fangs rip at Acribus' muzzle. Meanwhile Acribus misses the tongue, and his jaw slips resulting in his bite landing on the chin and making the jaws slip apart:.

Deimos began to sense a pattern in Acribus' fighting style. He would have thought a small wolf like Acribus would be swifter and better at dodging, but instead his opponent had a tendency to lunge straight for an attack. He faced his problems head on with no fear. As long as Deimos kept this courageous wolf underneath him, he would be able to stop him from lunging toward every attack. Still, Deimos pressed his paws harder against his opponent's shoulders and felt him move to the side trying to escape out from under him. He shifted his paws from his shoulders to his throats hoping to hold him down so that he could attack without having Acribus jump straight at it. If he successfully held his head down by the throat, he would dip his head straight down to Acribus' stomach, a very vulnerable place. He new his opponent's paws might claw at his head trying to prevent the bite, so he decided to try and use his own front legs that were on Acribus' throat to push down and hold back the off-white he wolf's front legs.

Acribus' teeth ring from the contact of his last missed attack, and his muzzle weeps. He is beginning to really see the difference in weight between himself and Deimos, but this just makes him think faster. He fails at struggling out from underneath or putting Deimos off balance, and suddenly the big male is trying to put his paws over Acribus' neck. Deimos attempts to hold down Acribus' front legs as well.
The way Deimos is standing over him, holding him down and spread-leg, gives Acribus an idea. Deimos is intent on choking him and attacking his stomach, not to mention he is still blinded. Acribus uses this to his advantage. As Deimos starts to try and bite Acribus' stomach, Acribus focuses all his strength, weight, and anger into his hind legs. As Deimos shifts down to his elbows to try and hold Acribus down, Acribus launches up with his rump and kicks his hind legs as hard as he physically can. He is trying to make contact with not only Deimos' vulnerable stomach, but also the more tender area of his groin. Hopefully, not only will Acribus send him toppling off over his own head (since his opponents' weight is shited forward), he will cause damage to his underside.

.:Diemos succeeds in shifting his paws onto Acribus' neck, cutting off much of his opponents oxygen and preventing movement. However as he attempts to attach the smaller wolf's belly, he misses and his kicked full on in the face by Acribus. His bits lands, unfortunately on Acribus' paw, hs bite so hard and the kick so forceful that Diemos loses his grip on Acribus' neck. Very unbalanced, it will be easy for Acribus to escape the pin. Acribus' paw is crunched, slightly fractured and definitely punctured around the ankle and inside of the pad. This will bleed heavily, and will not heal correctly without White Magic or a proper splint:.

Deimos was unexpectedly kicked by Acribus in the process of trying to bite his stomach. He immediately lost his grip on his opponent's neck, and began wobbling around. While he was successful in biting Acribus in the paw, he would be pushed off soon enough, the small opponent soon escaping his pin. There was no avoiding it. His escape was inevitable. However, that injury he gave him was worth it. He may walk with a limp for the rest of his life if he never sees White Magic, or it might bleed out, painfully killing him. Deimos was certain it would leave some sort of scar, and it would be a sign of Deimos' strength and power. Did his escape really matter any more? Deimos had received what he hoped to accomplish, so he stopped pushing, deciding to let Acribus fling him off. "You ready to give up?" he snarled.
