Acribus' senses explode into pain. His vision blurs and his stomach heaves, all thought and conciousness now focused on his crunched paw. Deimos bit him so badly that Acribus actually feels his bones splinter. Oh how he loves it, so. He snarls in obvious relish, revelling in the blinding pain. Oh yes. This is what he had been waiting for. There was nothing on earth that made him feel alive like pain. He shuddered in enjoyment. Somehow through it all, Acribus notices that he is able to escape from under Deimos. He wriggles free, his front paw useless, but the other three reletively sturdy. His vision is swimming, but a manical grin is plastered on his face. Deimos stops fighting him, allowing himself to be thrown off. Now was the beautiful moment. Now was when Acribus' larger and stronger opponent underestimates him. Pain? What was a little pain? His entire leg from the shoulder down was useless, and his vision was blurring at the edges as he roamed ever-closer to unconciousness from blood loss... but this was how he won fights.
As Deimos guard is down, Acribus launches one last attack. He leaps at Deimos, using his back legs to propell him forward. He swings his useless front leg around, having no real control over it but aiming to land the claws in Deimos' soft tissue around the eye and blind him further by adding his own blood to the mess of Deimos' face. With his opponent caught off-guard, Acribus tries only two manouvers so he can better focus his failing power. He also hopes to close his jaws around the windpipe and throat, possibly forcing submission.
((With Shiver's next post I think Acribus should pass out from blood loss, whether he lands the attack and Deimos submits or not))

.:Acribus leaps forward, powerful in his moment of exhilaration. He lands his paw against Diemos' face, the non-fatal blood he lost smearing across his opponents face messily. This injures him further, the paw will never heal correctly, and can only be used again if white magic is met with. Diemos, standing strong receives the attack well but not without a gash in the side of teh neck. A grip is not gained by Acribus for he passes out before he is able. Diemos' wound is extremely painful, and if it gets infected may lead to disease and death:.
(OOC: seems like that fight is....over since no one has responded and WM threads are already finished/underway)
Wolves had been fighting here. She could taste it on the breeze, smell it in the trees, see it on the stone. Blood and claw marks decorated the central floor of the ghostly village, telling it's recent tale. The fighting seemed to be secluded to one small ring of rocks and-Lydia abruptly stepped back, avoiding a nasty rotting arm bone. The flesh was completely cleaned off, but the limb wasn't bleached white from age, it was recent enough to be from a living wolf...though...losing a limb during battle...Lydia neared once more to the thing lying on the cracked stone, the bone had teeth marks on it. Either they had a cannibal in the valley, or someone chewed the foreleg off. Unsettled slightly, she hopped into the ring, cream toes landing gracefully. One of the Midnight Silence Gamma's was here for an appointment. She was her to fight. For fun.

Kodiac: Kodi was still very sleepy.
That was what he would blame his predicament on later. He had still been sleepy, therefore not full awake. So he wandered into the 'bad part' of the ruins. His impossibly big yawn showed a great amount of teeth, he blamed that too. He had awakened to the sound of fighting, but his brain was still half asleep when he went to investigate. He had found nothing but a single she-wolf, and as he turned to go, his paws slipped. He tumbled down, landing (Thankfully) on the side of his face that had a eyelid.
Kodi got to his paws, looking at the dainty she-wolf in front of him. Her ears would come up to his shoulder, and she was lean. She was also in the way to his only way out. He was awake now, his senses working overtime. His brown kaleidoscope eyes watched her as he tried to figure out if she would let him leave. "Um, I'm sorry for falling in miss, I'll be going if you don't mind.." Kodi didn't know if he had just got himself out or if he had sealed his fate.

((Is this in need of modding yet? *Doesn't know*))
::Kodiac falls into the fighting pit. He tries to leave past Lydia, but a giant boulder falls from the sky and locks them both in the ring, so fighting can begin::

(Dx sorry! Also is Kodi okay to die? Lydia is, though i dont know if it will happen)
Lydia smirked as a wolf joined her in the pit. She smirked down at him as he cowered and attempted to leave. "Oh, but I do mind..." The dainty shewolf cut off the scarred wolf's escape, intelligent coral eyes glinting dangerously. Since her pack Midnight Silence had moved territories, she had informed Fjord of her detour, her search for blood and flesh ripping under her fangs. He consented and she had speedily followed the tell tail path to where the fighting was. "Welcome, to the fight club, cub." She barked loudly, her lady-like skin falling away to reveal the blood thirsty, primal monster within.
While she was close by, she began the fight, uncaring whether he would fight back or not. Of course it would make the blood shed more interesting...but she wouldn't complain...too loudly. With a snarl she lunged forward, hoping to drag her fangs across his flank, hopefully causing a deep wound. Once finished she would agilely hop away, hopefully out of his reach, if he followed she would evade him easily.

Kodiac: Kodi could see no way out of this, and so resorted to his last resort. Fighting. First, however, this she-wolf seemed keen of teasing him. "I'm no cub tiny." He threw a insult back, and compared to his large stature she was on the smaller side. He just poured some salt in that to get back for calling him a cub. Besides, he was not a bear or a cat! He was a wolf! But he got the meaning of what she said. She called him young. That was something she would regret soon. Kodi's face became a snarl, and he widened his stance.
He attempted to bite her as she got closer, he had no intentions of letting go thankyou. If she did escape his grip, he would chase after her. It would not be easy, but Kodi was not a quitter. He would still chase.

::Lydia succeeds in lunging forward and biting Kodiac's flank, though it isn't as deep as she had hoped. It will weaken his leg for a moment, but it won't really cause him much pain during the rest of the fight. Kodi aims to bite Lydia as she attacks his flank, but misses. Lydia evades Kodi as he tries to chase after her. No wolf has sustained serious injury so far.::

Lydia rolled her head around in bliss, the taste of blood spiking her heart into a steady, but fast pace. She hadn't tasted an opponents blood in what seemed like years. She wasn't allowed to brutally maim the subordinates in Midnight Silence, she had only been able to batter them around if they caused trouble. Unfortunately she and her fellow Gammess were scary enough so that no wolf dared step out of line. And so the lady like villainess enjoyed her first taste immensely.
Her opponent on her tail, she quickly began to strategize. He was bigger than her, by a fair amount, but he was slower and clumsy. She would have to rely on her wit and stay out of reach. She would have to dart in and out of his range, making wounds as she went. She wasn't to let him attack her. Let him think that he was steady and in control while, like a hurricane, she would rip him into shreds. Beginning her attack, she spun on her heel at full speed, his momentum hopefully taking him a little past her. Then, she would lunge forward, legs tucked close to her body, and slice at his other flank, hopefully more effective than her last attack. After this she would use her momentum and land on his other side, ready to flee once more.

Kodiac: Kodi stifled a whimper, brown eyes narrowed. His ear went back, and a snarl arose from him. His shoulder barely stung, but he had stopped chasing her. Kodi's mind was working overtime, simply to come up with: 'Act injured, lure her in.' So Kodi did just that. Only issue, his wound was barely even bleeding any more. She wouldn't fall for it. Down with that plan. New plan: 'Pretend to fall and sprain ankle without actually spraining ankle.' That plan had a better chance of working. She he made to go after her again. Then, a supposed misstep, and he was down with a 'sprained ankle'. Kodi had fallen before, he knew how to make it look bad too. He remained on the ground for a second, seeming holding in gasps of pain but really trying not to laugh at how clever this was. If she got closer to the 'injured' Kodiac, he would lunge up and go for the neck. He still wasn't sure how well that would work, but he had to try, right?

::Lydia succeeds in avoiding attack, but she is moving so quickly that she doesn't close the distance enough to hit him in the flank before she darts off again. When Kodi falls, Lydia springs forward, into his trap, but completing an attack herself. She takes a chunk out of his opposite flank—he will really feel that one, and it will scar; however, since he was more or less ready for her to attack, Kodi lunges for Lydia's neck. He misses his mark because she continues darting away with her speed, but he succeeds in landing a sharp snap to the side of her face, opening her cheek under the eye. The injury does not blind or her hinder her much, but it is painful enough that she will subconciously try to keep that side of her face away from further attacks.:: @pittypat @shiver

Lydia let out a quiet hiss as her initial attack missed, but resumed regular breathing during her second attack. Pleased to feel flesh tear away at her fangs, Lydia bounded away. She had considerable stamina, but even she couldn't run forever. Now was the time to whip out her power. It was weak, and she was nearly untrained, and so, for her power to be effective she would have to be discreet about it. She would have to use it in such a way that he wouldn't know it was her. And if he did realize it was her, she would work with it. And so, she looped back around the ring, the glowing flower in the center of her orange one wasn't incredibly noticeable, the green light lost in the mottled shafts of green light form the canopy above. She studied her opponent while she moved, her pace slowed slightly, enabling her to catch her breath. With his back legs somewhat hindered, she decided to implement her power on his front legs.
When he moved to attack her from across the ring, she would minutely soften the soil under his front paws. Hopefully enough so that his beginning leap would be off, either causing him to stumble, trip, or even fall. When that happened, Lydia would take the opportunity to leap atop of his back and rip into the soft flesh on the side of his belly. There she would stay until he moved to attack her, and then when she felt him moving under her, she would leap off and scamper away, kicking up dust with her power, perhaps lucky enough to get in his eyes. Hopefully his sight would become obstructed by the cloud of fine sand, causing irritation and blurriness. And...if he was that kind of wolf, agitation. The kind of agitation that would affect his fighting techniques.

Kodiac: Kodi yelped as her fangs ripped into his shoulder. He staggered, breathing heavy. He glanced at it, and growled softly. Like he needed more scars. And now she was on the other side of the arena. Following her with his eyes, he barely took any notice of her appearance. Including the glowing flower. He was to busy watching her eyes, nervous of what she was planning. He raised his lips in a snarl, made only more terrifying by his half-face. He took a step, finding his large paws sink into the dirt. It was then he noticed the powermark. Well, if we are playing with powers...
Kodi's snarl doubled in volume, a red clawmark tattoo glowed over the exposed skin of the left side of his face. Thenhe let out a sonic bark that would at least startle her a tiny bit. Then he went back to amplified snarling. Daring her to come closer. And that she did, she came right under him, aiming to scrape at his underside. No, flat out no. Using his back leg, he reared up on two legs, aiming to catch Lydia under his paws.

::As Kodi's paws sink into the earth and he takes a moment to work things out, Lydia leaps onto his back. He did not stumble, so his belly is not exposed, but Lydia lands a series of painful bites to the tender skin on the back of his neck. Kodi uses Siren, and Lydia will gain a powerful, distracting headache from the sound. When Kodi rears up and throws her off of him, he is unable to dodge the sand from Lydia's power because of his weakened rear leg. Because of the sand in his eyes, he misses catching Lydia under his paws.
So far there has only been superficial wounds inflicted to either combatant.

Lydia winced and yelped slightly as she hit the ground, a mild headache swarming her mind like a nest of hornets. The slight female, however couldn't afford to be distracted and stumbled hurriedly to the edge of the ring to clear her mind and get her bearings straight. With a growl she scoped out what damage she had conducted. She could continue this game all day and win. But not without substantial wounds. And white magic would refuse her as a patient. She couldn't afford to lose, and couldn't afford to become weak. Her pack would throw her to the vultures if she came back a mess of maggot infested meat. Lowering her head she used her power to propel her forward, moving the top layer of soil with her. Using this propulsion she lept forward, with her momentum she would grasp his throat in her slim jaws, then her body, moving so much faster, would sling over his back, causing him to flip over. Once that happened she would end him. If her plan did not fall through, she would push off of his belly-hopefully causing some bad gashes in his abdomen- and try for a second attack.

Kodiac: The painful wounds to the back of his neck stung like bees. As did his exposed eye. He screwed his eyes shut (Or as much as he could) and shook his head. He widened his stance to regain some balance, and once he finally opened his eyes, he saw her coming for his neck. Kodi's eyes got small, a million thoughts rushing through his head. Spotting the leg bone, he resorted to despret measures. No one will ever know. He took a wild jump, aiming for the bone to take in his jaws and shove into her side. AT least throwing her off her trajectory. The thing was, his footing wasn't too good.
